Good job
by ganesh pai on Aug 31, 2014 07:32 PM

Rediff has done a good job of public awareness and these ministers if proved of their crime have to go for jail. Yet, I request the Rediff Team to publish the crime record of congress party and the possible sentences for them. Since they are Seniors they will first go to the jail or Gallows following these NDA chaps. Let alone good people rule our nation.

Political abuse cases
by arungopal agarwal on Aug 31, 2014 03:00 PM

System needs drastic reforms to know real criminal cases, we have seen recently cases framed against PM himself by congress, on Amit Shah, MLA of Saharanpur, etc.,etc., these are all framed just to appease muslims.
No doubt cases which are of corruption and direct murder or hard core criminality must be viewed and such people should not be given ticket.

Time to close down Rediff.... They keep publishing paid news... These charges are nothing compared to Congress/ UPA/ TMC/ DMK/ SP/ RJD/ goons...

Rahul Gandhi: Sukanya Gang rape case, friendship with Columbian drug mafia... Caught red handed at Boston with Cocaine and $160,000 cash... sleeps in parliament. Attempted to murder public with his dumb acts and scared people by being a Congress PM candidate..

Sonia: 1963-68 was in a red light area. Never went to school beyond class 5. Filed a sworn affidavit with false information. Killed many Congress party members to gain power, killed Rajiv Gandhi... tried to divide the country with Communal Violence bill, tried to destroy Hinduism, imposed christianity, illegal antique smuggling with Navin Chavla's wife, had criminals in NAC, blackmailed people, manipulated former dummy PM- MMS. World record Corruption: CWG, 2G, Coalgate, Thorium, Oil for Food, Adarsh, highest money stolen and stashed in foreign banks, Participatory notes scam....

Crimilnal Cases Against Ministers
by mahatma gandhi on Aug 30, 2014 02:49 AM  | Hide replies

It is nothing new in a country like India whether it is BJP, Congress, DMK, AIADMK, Communists or any other parties. All the parties do the same thing. We will be surprised only when we hear of a politician who has no cases tagged to him! By the way, what Rediff was doing all these years when Congress ruled the country? Why did you keep quiet then?

The criminals represent you because people voted for them. That is the Indian Society and sorry to say but these are the people who yell "We are proud to be Indians" You and others kept quiet and never educated those literate but uneducated Indians. It pains to see that we are running after personality cults and not Character and ethics. Our perception is limited to what we are. We look at most people with suspicion because we are corrupt ourselves. The media is responsible to a large extent in promoting these. Whatever the supporters of the criminals might say might say but I cannot hear them because what they are shouts so loudly into my ears that other sounds are not audible. We need to change our own character and then only we can chose the right representatives.

Rediff's hatchet list
by Bodh Ramdeo on Aug 29, 2014 09:02 PM

With its masters on the back-foot having been trounced by the BJP, Rediff, liked a good loyal servant of the venal Khangriss, has go on the offensive, doing the hatchet job on Modi, in the service of its venal masters.

All the charges seem spurious at best...all trumped-up charges perhaps?
None of the cases cited so far are of "criminal' nature...almost all are for civil disobedience...which is a protected right under the constitution.

Just because the criminally-corrupt cops file charges against them, does not necessarily make them guilty nor 'criminals'.

"Daagi" ministers
by virendra gupta on Aug 29, 2014 01:57 PM

Rediff has not given the dates of when the charges were framed or cases lodged.
Why I am asking this question is "why should it take so long for judiciary (lower in most cases) to clear such cases.
Since the court has refused to fast track cases against such MP's/MLA's, can the onus be put on the ministers to prove their innocence in the case by getting the case to move forward at a fast speed. (I am a NON-judicial person and have no idea of the procedures).
surely there has o be some solution (every problem has one).
I hope and wish that our legal and other important people will surely find a solution very soon.

Cases
by arungopal agarwal on Aug 29, 2014 12:11 PM  | Hide replies

Due to such fake cases made by Police on public meetings, demonstrations etc., under various IPC sections and framed by ruling parties whosoever they may be are all political cases. People have therefore lost all faith in our Police and judicial system. Police and Judiciary is corrupt from bottom to top.
Who will take correction and cleanse the system. We want SWARAJ not British Raj which congress had been following.

Agarwalji, We cannot expect a great India till we have individuals like you who just because of some association or leaning say the cases are false and the police and system is corrupt. Let there be a fair and impartial probe against all accused and then you decide. You can be independent but will only grow and flourish with interdependence.
