looks like hes psycho as hes carrying a big sickle. when ever one enters an ATM, one needs to look both the sides if some one follows or not or nearby. after hes nabbed, hope hes cut into pieces.
Verry sad matter .I wish her speedy recovery.Why there was no Security Guard outside the ATM. Normally almost all the ATMs are having security guards. I have a suggestion The door to the ATM room should open only when a credit card or Debit Card is swiped and it should lock with in say 30 seconds/on closing.The user can again swipe to come out of the room.I have found two or three ATM machines in one room itself. This is not at all safe.It should be in seperate cubicle so that the user will have privacy in operating the ATM.Hope the police will catch the fellow

There should be no shutters. It should have only glass doors so that the indoors are clearly visible

Good thought and this feature is indeed available in few ATMs. But I guess even then she would have been attacked when she walked out of the ATM and his identity would not have been so clearly captured, considering how our public behaves so unsocial when it comes to safegaurding others.

This is very unfortunate..more so, that the victim is a lady. Wish her quick recovery and good health. The victim should definitely sue the bank heavily for negligence which led to this crime. Only then such incidents can be reduced.
I heard in news channel, that she is bank manger of same bank. where inceident happened. then lack of security matters blames fall on her also as she is in commanding position of the bank, and she should have make sure that that there is security guard also available in all the ATM centers of her bank, this time instead of cutomer ,bank employee also face the same inceident which normal customers always face. now the alram bell is already rung for all the bank managers that victim could be any of us including you and your family members. simply blaming police force of every incident is not going to help, private security arrangement is the responsibility of private firms also. be it a bank or any other organisation.
Just a long & hard look about the state of our country says it all - looted, devastated, lack of personal security especially for women, raped every day irrespective of age, security of the border, soldiers being decapacitated in most inhuman manner while the govt. just stands by and watches hands over chits of paper as 'protests'.., rupee is now trash, price rise...Congis have given us such wonderful 'gifts' as their legacy in these past 60 years
