if it was Chennai, the TN police would have finishd him off by now.I am not saying that police in other states are weak, but sometimes you need to take extreme steps for such kind of people.

About the Human Rights Activists? If you harm him they will immediately jump to his defense. Remember the way they were fighting for the juvenile in Delhi rape case?

Recently, a school boy in chennai assaulted the teacher in a knife point in the school premises, but the is still safe.
Tailgating and attacking 2/4 wheelers in deserted roads. R*pes by BPO vehicle drivers, Murders of senior citizens who live alone, the list is endless. In fact a security guard was murdered in an IDBI bank ATM in East Bangalore just recently. What hope does a common man then have...

Bangalore is being polluted with migrant workers. Most of these heinous crimes are being carried out by Assam, Nepal and Jharkhand ppl. strict vigilance should be carried out by local authorities.
Our Congress people are busy in telling country is growing at 8% growth!! Congress and other parties are far away from the ground realities, actually people are losing jobs, very inflation and with no law order, the combination of all this is very dangerous for society. Vote for AAM aadmi party!

Dear Friend, though I share your sentiments, I dont think it is fair to drag in politics into this. FYI, BJP ruled Karnataka last 4-5 years till recently, but no reduction in crime rate. B'glore is slowly becoming like Delhi, lot of wealth, immigrants etc, so more crime opportunities...

Citizens are fooled by Congis again by voting this GOVT, which cries scandal in giving a young lady security as requested by her parents. In Cong Raj only One family is eligible for national security, not for any normal women. It is the failure of total law and order situation of the state. Compare with previous Govt, in every aspects!
This shows the level of confidence of rowdy elements who attack at will even in monitored environments like ATMs.It is due to the criminal-law enforcement authorities-leaders nexus that such things happen. Wish the unfortunate lady a speedy and full recovery.
Such criminals and thieves should be given nothing less than the death sentence, so that nobody in future should have the guts to terrorize, rob and hurt people, not only in ATMs but also while travelling and in their own homes.

The law gives all the chances for criminals to escape while the innocent middle class are thrown out of their flats after years of occupation-such is justice in our country
It is sole responsibility of banks to keep a armed guard in every ATM. The lady who suffered injury should be compensated by concerned bank. Appointing staff in banks have been drastically reduced after introduction of ATMs. Then why cant banks appoint a well built person to guard the ATMs by paying 10 to 15000 salary. Also few ATMs are in secluded places in the City. Better to close such ATMs. ATMs should be opened only at densely populated areas.

a security guard would suffice. not having ATM's in secluded spots is not comfortable for many ppl ..especially in village areas. They cant travel everytime to urban or crowded spots. if their home is far off.
Seriously cops should nab the culprits! There are hundreds of such incidents taking place with the techies but as no one is complaining ,its not reported!
1) No guard was present 2) Access to ATM Kiosk was not restricted to Debit Card Holders 3) Shutter should have kept locked at top side so that assailant cannot pull down the shutter. So, there were total security lapses observed at ATM Kiosk.

Above all ATM is close to police station. Her bad luck in the mean time no other customers came to withdraw money about 2 & half hours. No one is observed that why the shutter is almost closed ?
