ATM machine counters are supposed to have automatic locking system once a person goes inside and can be opened only by him from inside. But non of that is working in any ATM. This is lapse from the part of the Bank. Why they are not caring for the life of the citizens? such bank should also be penalized.

True. I too have been wondering why they dont go for those "hole in the wall" ATMs here..! Build a room, keep the ATM machinery inside that and have the access to the ATM screen and buttons on the outside. Probably they think its too unsafe for India..!
Please dont arrest and shuttle him to court for justice. we know what justice he needs, for this third rated he should treated in the same he did and should be killed in public so that others should be dared enough to do this in future. The problem here is no one is giving value for life and law. These guys treat law no value. To avoid drastically in future treat in the same way and kill him annoyed citizen

When taken to court, the judge will give him bail and will run. And commit another crime.

Caste system seeded 'hatred' and rolled-out sadists/savages in India. You're are naive if you think streets are safe for your women. It's only going to get worse in the future.Google "jyoti singh pandey".
Why the shutter was easy to close ? In open position it should be locked on top by the bank so that it will be visible. Though it was happened in day light, no one could see because the shutter was closed.
It is scary to enter a ATM after this incident.
The history sheeters should not be let out by the police. In many cases after coming out from jail they still do their job and innocent people are fall victim. For all he may be getting one punishment, but before that many lives are crippled or lost. Can the concerned look at this please?

You want to patronize and keep the robbers and the rowdies in our society to take care of a particular section.Good idea.
It is surprising that cities like Bengaluru and Mumbai are following the foot steps of Delhi and other north Indian cities. As a Indian i have good impression regarding south cities regarding law and order, particularly the safety of women.Lately the north Indians(decedents of Moguls)have penetrated in south India too. All the state govts and central govt must improve Governance and Law and order. This is the first thing for well being of the people of country. This does not need extra finances or Rocket science. All need to be changing the mind set.

Just one long & hard look at the state of affairs of our country says it all - looted, ravaged, devastated, lack of personal security especially for women (raped/killed every day irrespective of age), security of the border, soldiers being decapitated in most inhuman manner while the govt. just stands by and watches and hands over chits of paper as 'protests', enemy countries blatantly taking away our land, .., rupee is now trash, price rise, ...Congis have given us such wonderful 'gifts' as their legacy in these past 60 years
