Safety at ATMs
by Krishna Setty on Nov 20, 2013 02:14 PM

seems its safe to keep these ATM machines open to access i.e, without room, door, shutter. This is most common practice in other countries, keeping them open will definitely avoid this kind of incidents and also even thieves will not dare to touch them !!!.

Safety of ATM users
by Prakasha kashyn on Nov 20, 2013 02:11 PM

Wish Mrs Jyothi a speedy recovery.Following few steps are suggested for the safety of ATM Users: 1) All ATM's should have real security personel from Authorised Agency 2) Rolling Shutters for ATM's to be removed 3) Effective Access Control to be installed e.g. The ATM door should not open when a customer is already inside ATM.Access to ATM should be only made possible when the inmate has completed the transaction and comes out of ATM. 4) Emergency Alarming system to be installed in ATM Counters and the usage of the same to be demonstrated to users on Electronic media.
