Who were against Vande Matram, already left India in 1947. Who ever does not like, please follow the suite as some did in 1947. We are secular does not mean that we will leave our thousands year old culture, civilization, philosophy.

France is a Secular country. It does not allow any Borkha, Turban, Cross or any loud messages from the Mosques. India should follow France.

Every thing happening in name of secularism, is against Hindu. Rammaya after coming to power give first order to lift ban from killing cows.
Vande Mataram was a song of freedom movement and liked by Hind*s & M*slims alike against British imperialism. There is nothing anti M*sl*m in the song. Hence noone shd b against it. Moreover great writer Bankim had written abt M*slim Jamindars' atrocities on the masses during 1770 famine. So actually there is nothing against Isl*m in the novel Anandmath also. Great freedom fighter Maulana Azad, incl Mahatma Gandhi had also favoured the song

Director General of Police, S S Khandwawala is a stupid muslim. No muslim in the world kiss the ground and salute the motherland while performing sajda. A muslim bows and worship Allah alone. A muslin says "assalamu aleikum" meaning "let peace be upon you" as a greeting. It is not worship. One must be a patriot. There are patriots in all countries. One such patriot is Mao-ze-dung, did he worship his motherland? Or George Washington? A patriot can worship his/her motherland as a deity, it his/her freedom. Similarly a patriot may not worship his/her motherland as a matter of principle. But it defies any logic to convert one's motherland to a deity, because if we study history we find that even motherland's border keeps changing. Earlier USSR was one, now it broken into pieces. Before there were one Korea, now there are two. Before India was undivided, now it is broken into three parts (I wish she reunites soon). Now some patriots wish to urinate on Pakistan forgetting that it was a part of the motherland stolen away by vested parties. Defies logic. And moreover, we are quarreling on a song written in 18th Century. Let is live in 21st Century and do good to our motherland.

You have a narrow vision of the situation. In a diverse society the minority should respect majority sentiments, while it is the responsibility of the majority to protect the minority. Raising religious slogans (eg: we being muslim should not do this and that) do not help anyone, only strengthen the hands of those who want to hurt the nation (plenty present across the border)
