Wanting to enjoy the 7 percent growth of India which is primarily the result of the social and political setup of this country. But refusing to accept the social responsibilities of that society, be it as symbolic as disrespecting the national song or refusing to pay alimony to the divorced women on religious grounds is pure selfishness.
Either you respect the constitution or handover the passport and go to a country where you will find happiness. After all the Constitution is the social conscience of this country. If you cannot accept it then please go to a society where you find the social conscience acceptable to you.

Singing Vande Mataram does not prove patriotism of any person. However, not singing it because of "religious" reasons reflects on the warped beliefs and priorities of the person concerned which are completely out of sync with not just the Constitution but also with humanity.
Frankly, i don't mind anyone disrespecting the Constitution but disrespecting it because of "religious" beliefs is anathema to me.

There is no use trying to persuade them. Their mind has been sickened beyond repair by blind belief and complete lack of reason or respect towards others. They are mentally sick beyond redemption. Appeasement and fear mongering (like mother scares child by saying gabbar singh aa jayega) is making this worse.
We are truly heading for very bad times. I don't rule out a civil war breaking out in 20-30 years which will make partition violence pale in comparison. The only way to avoid it is to stop this current appeasement and fear mongering immediately.
Why is this long-winded apology needed? Those who oppose Vande Mataram on religious grounds show irrational hatred and should be asked to mend their ways -- or leave my motherland.
