Talk of Sangeeta Richard being a CIA agent rubbish'

our whole country is debating on this non sense issue. Rubbish Talks, False stand ,wrong allegations for such a nonsense matter. In our country all of us must have flouted some rules which as per law of country is not permissible such as bribing TTE for getting a berth in train out of way , giving capitation fee for our children & not asking for any official receipt, giving false affidavits for domiciles, allotment of Govt bodies flat/houses,
age proof, etc etc etc which we all know.
we have become habitual law flouters & our upbringing in this country is such that all scams, corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, murderers roaming free has added "Chalta hai"attitude in our daily life.
you cannot expect such elite class bureaucracy representing our country can be so ignorant about laws & results of flouting them, when you are posted in country like USA where it is considered that no person is above the law & their judiciary has set many examples .
Is our country not paying well to the govt servants?we have to work on so many things collectively viz timely wage revisions, teaching basic laws at school level, passing of legislation well ahead of time& many more. In our country a mind frame of a average self claimed successful Indian Citizen is"my son well settled & working for MNC/IT co with a good pay pkt,my daughter married to a well settled executive in IT/MNC co or a bureaucrat or a Engineer/Doctor settled abroad. I am retired & I have my

Need to take a moderate view

After all this hue and cry on Devyani, what makes me feel unconfortable on the deeper thought is "Why Indian Politicians have started taking this stringent measures against US now while they kept quiet even when President of India was humiliated." I am sure there is much more in Devyani case than it meets the eye and over zealous Indian media must also present the other side of the story (which the above article tries to capture) rather than riding on the emotive public opinion for the TRP

What you said is correct. Where were these fools now barking at US in Devayani case, when our Ex-president Kalam, was stripped at US air port by it's Immigration people. The incident was ended by a feeble routine protest. Kalam, that eminent scientist was not a favourite to indian hooligans in power and they brought that octagenerian, spend thrift woman to presidentship and she was always touring and touring ie around the world in 5 years that too many times and with a whole pack of friends, relatives and neighbours. We can't expect any thing better from that hooligans in power .

Yes, the action against US intimidation and humilation should have been taken much before. You are right. After all you know the kind of ruling indian politicians being Indian. Better late, but don't let them go without a deep jolt. When media correctly highlight the issue, at least appreciate. This is a big draw back.

This looks like silly issue, likely a CIA game plan. Other issues are least important to us. This Sam didn't recognise even our earlier president APJ and strip searched; mind it...

The Supreme Court of then Justices Altamas Kabir, J M Pnachal and Cyriac Josep found this in a judgment that was delivered while reinstating a dismissed IFS officer Mahaveer V Singhvi and imposing a fine of Rs 25,000 on the Union government for wrongfully terminating the services of the 1999 batch IFS officer. "The Union government and ministry of external affairs have not been able to satisfactorily explain why the rules/norms for allotment of languages were departed from only for the year 1999 so that the Singhvi was denied his right of option for German and such choice was given to Khobragade who was at two stages below Singhvi in the gradation list," the bench said. "The mode of allotment was amended for the 1999 Batch in such a calculated fashion that Ms Khobragade, who was at Serial No.7, was given her choice of German over and above Singhvi, who was graded at two stages above her," the bench had said in its judgment delivered on July 29, 2010.
