WHAT PROMPTED REDIFF TO STICK WITH THE PAST?
by subrata banerjee on Mar 23, 2012 03:32 PM  | Hide replies

Trivedi is now a history. It is not first time a minister has been withdrawn from his cabinet in Indian history. In democracy, a minister is first of all a member of the party and every party has their own agendas and the members are scheduled to implement those agendas. Trivedi became railway minister with the help of Trinomool party and therefore, he must be careful to implement the agendas of his party, so that, the party can come closer to the common men who are the largest section of our country. So, it is now useless to discuss the matter which has already been closed.

If Mamata can refer to 34 years of historical mis-rule of the left in every 2nd sentences she utter, whats wrong in talking about the fresh Trivedi episode?

Or like the perfect Trina-fool you want to be selective about history to suit the idiosyncrasy of your leader?

I feel that the uneducated Mamata forced Trivedi out cause she was suffering from a severe inferiority complex of seeing herself with the Harvard educated Trivedi. Thats why he replaced Trivedi with the undergraduate Mukul Roy :)

Mumta- A Bulluck cart!
by puliyadi rajamurthy on Mar 23, 2012 03:11 PM  | Hide replies

She cannot provide Modernisation to Indian Railways. One ancient word is there that a king who thinks cheap his regime will also be cheap. She is thinking that Indian railways is her own property. One side China and other foreign countries are accelerating in Bullet train progress where as here she is formulating only Bulluck cart trains. Brainwashig the people and making them cheap is a fun to Mumta.

Politics at its best
by vaibhav dave on Mar 23, 2012 03:05 PM

these are all political gimmick, no political party is concerned where railway is moving. As for Mamta, she is creating fuss on rate hike but when lakhs and lakhs rupees are spent on inaugural of station/train in front of mamta, then where is the quest for aam aadmi money.

Railway Budget
by Pranav Mahant on Mar 23, 2012 02:52 PM  | Hide replies

As we know that our Indian railway mininster from TMC he should work under the policy of TMC he disobeyed and get this result. Every Indian wants Indian Railway in Profit but not in the hike of pASSENGER FARE, Railway Minister can Raise funds from Advertisement (provide place on rent to branded player from railways) as metro railways doing) Give responsibility to other players to develop structure where govt thinks it is impossible. By this way may be Indian govt can earn. Curb vested interest person, Indian Railways have Good brains who can calculate this with wholeheartedly.

Let private and public operated parallely
by vinodh kumar on Mar 23, 2012 02:50 PM

Why not allow private organisations also to operate trains like private buses on roads. The government can continue to operate their highly subsidised rails using tax payers money. People who want more comfort can then travel in private rails by paying higher fares. Also then people need not always book their tickets 4 months before travel and getting an accomodation would then be much easier. More investments will also flow to the railway system from the private sector.
