Poor law and order situation in the country
by Satya Vyas on Nov 08, 2011 03:03 PM

Indian society is in a transition mode. We are opening up in our relationships and are not shy to show off our beautiful girl friends/ fiancees on beaches/public places. However, the law and order situation is going from bad to worse due to all pervasive corruption in the police and society. The fear of law enforcement agencies is fast vanishing and hooligans are not afraid of enacting such dastardly acts. The solution lies in being careful while planning holidays, train yourself in self defence, carry small weapons for self defense. At the same time, we need to put pressure on governments to improve law and order situation by increasing patrolling and proper lighting arrangements on sensitive spots and reducing police response time. We need to increase accountability of the police, investigation agencies and the judiciary for a safer, peaceful and prosperous Hindustan.

Its time Capital punishment is introduced in India too
by Paresh Prajapati on Nov 08, 2011 02:47 PM  | Hide replies

In Singapore for smaller crimes, the criminal is awarded a number of strokes of cane along with imprisonment. Every stroke can potentially lead the person unconcious and leave a permanent mark on the skin where the stroke is given. Eyewitness say that the skin either turns black or opens up on each stroke. The next stroke is given after the first one is completely healed.
I think this can instill fear in peoples mind who are thinking of going that way. Less criminals, less cases, more scope of justice.

who will implement when corrupt police and slow, inefficient judiciary is there? My dear it is only we people who are responsible for all this. If we are ready to accept, give bribes we should be ready for our girlfriends, wives or sisters be teased by rich hooligans who have both political connections and money to subvert police action and justice.

by Force Khukri on Nov 08, 2011 01:39 PM

maybe some situations keep the potential of changing our outlook ...jessica lal killingg had brought to fore political muscle power ...delhi bars have been restrained after that...and people genuinely fear showing off their clout....

similarly justice has to be done in this case too ..only then we can deter other people who are too carried away by their own self-worth and bravado
