I see these Issues happening due to lack of soical responsibility and social skills. Thier Parents have not taught them how to behave in the society. We must introduce Parenting skills for all bachelors whether they are in city or town or slums whatever.we must incalcate strong moral values to the growing children. Not telling them to become Tendulkar, SRK or NRN or to make money

No where is the world (where human life is valued) by standers are expected to interfere. But, they are expected to call police for help. But, who in India gives immunity to this caller?
Some may ask, does that justify people to watch dual murder but not call police? But go and ask the people who were present there, every one would have thought 'kaun padega is lafde mein'. In Indian society, Keenan and Reuben are exception rest of them who wathed them die are normal. Is society bothered about this? No. Is administration bothered about this? No.
Even after gaining so much of media attention, it is because the killers are from a slum, they are being bought to justice. What did police do in case of Salman Khan in Hit and run case or to Rahul Mahajan in drug abuse case? India got Independence in 1947, but Indians chose to remain slaves

Aha. If every parent bring up his/her child exactly like a Tendulkar or Mr.NRN, or Mr.Kalam, then India wud be a much better place to live.
Individuals are not responsible to the society.Thier Parents have not taught them while they were in School.Blame the system. We must teach Parenting skills for all bachedlors
Re: why blame on police
by Saibal Paul on Nov 08, 2011 06:01 PM
No no, please blame the "North Indians". I am surprised that MNS hasn't been able to pin the blame on them yet.
Punishment is wanted for criminals.More police alone will not solve the problem. You read recently about the corruption of Maharshtra police .Most of us are unethical .
By and by general indians have become indiffent on what is going around. See th garbage around you, see the corruption around you, If some blind wants to cross see how many will help him. If someone is fallen on the road how many will pick him up. There are mentally deranged people on the road, how many will do something for them . See the no of hawker around you, see how people park on the road. Groping of females is quite common. Females known to me have all gone through the trauma. This can go on and on for the whole night. We have become a land of eunechs. Nothing much will change unless everyone arises and does something about it. Whereever there is something I have always protested and people have said that one should mind ones business, dont get involved. I was in the defence and I will always counter that is agains society norms. We have become a land of eunechs.

Identicalsuggestion was put forward by me,earlier on this platform, except that there was no provision of rotational department. How ever to make bearocracy more vibranrt and result oriented, every person on attaining 35/40 years or have served 10 years must appear for retesting of her/his skill. Only, if one has cleared thses tests can one aspire to become an officer in the government, with a pay competing with privare sector. By this we will have the most brilliant and inteligent people manning governmental posts. Further to reduce corruption in political arena, no person should be able to contest for a third term in any elected post, unless (s)he has a cooling period of five terms. There will be more transparency.
Before blaming police, judiciary, lawyers or politicians, put yourself in their position. Would you not act in the same way? All these officers' acts of commission and omission reflect the thinking of the society of the time. We do not get these officers from heaven. They are selected from among us only. And all these services only reflect what we as a society think, believe and like. In India we think in terms of caste, religion, language or region while taking a stand rather than justice. A police officer is a Hindu, from south, belonging to a backward community and speaking a particular language first and an Indian in the last. The police does not act because the culprit is related to him or his religion or region. Yes. we need to wake up but in a different way. We need to shed all these parochial feelings and attitudes and rise above casteism, religious fanaticism, regionalism etc. only then we may hope for a just and peaceful society. It is the people who support these issues and this kind of politicians. It is only we people who can stop all this, or we will have to import honest and dedicated police, judiciary, advocates etc. Wake up my dear indians wake up.

I think you don't even have a mind to loose. What Satya said is the fact. His reply is relevant to the topic. he replied to those who blamed police, govt. and others in the discussion. We just play the blame game. As if we are Mr. perfect and all others the bad guys
