Send Indian scientists to Fukushima
by Vivek Dev on Nov 07, 2011 12:14 PM  | Hide replies

I request government to send Indian nuclear scientis to Fukushima to do a due diligence on safety. Why these people have already not gone there to take opportunity to study the effects of nuclear radiation, beats me. Perhaps, the Japanese dont want them or may be these people may be scared.

Anyway, they should try to convince the Japanese that nuclear plants are safe and they have been running 6 nuclear plants safely in India. I am sure the Japanese will abandon all plans for throwing out nuclear technology.

Hey we could even sell, safe nuclear technology to Japan. Indian nuclear scientists should prevail upon Japan to outsource running of nuclear power plants to NPCIL, DAE and so on. This will surely open up a massive revenue stream for India.

we have the most lax pollution rules, we let industries dump pollutants into rivers, we let out dated polluting lorries and buses to run with huge smoke trails.we throw plastic and trash everywhere.why suddenly all the concern for environment.a few nuclear plants aren't going to do anything we haven't already done to our environment

Kalam not qualified to speak on safety
by Vivek Dev on Nov 07, 2011 11:59 AM  | Hide replies

Kalam is not qualified to speak on safety. He has not worked in the field like I have, he is a scientist and has worked on missile design etc. He is qualified to speak on missiles not safety. I am qualified to speak on safety. Anyone who says Indian nuclear plants are safe does not know what he is talking.

Is you bothered to read his transcripts carefully, Kalam did not speak about the so called 'Nuclear technology'.

What he said was , 'There is no threat of the installation by TSUNAMI'. 'The tsunami waves will cease even before they reach the installation'.

Morons like you , who do not understand plain english go on one leg and display your idiocy and make a mockery of education.

What Dr.Kalam said was about was PHYSICS. It was not fusion and sission.

And with his acumen and experience in science, Dr.Kalam is capable of judging things related to 'any' technology.

Two anna intellectuals like you are let lose on the society with your coaching class intellect. Whats your qualification to judge if Kalam is qualified ?

Do you read DNA too ? Yeah . I read that column too.

You don't need to talk to any one. That is exactly what I was saying.

I at least READ.

You do not even read. You go about blazing like a blow hole after reading the head line. At least read once what you had written and see if it makes sense.

You and your boorish blabber.
