Good leadership is not finding excuses for the defeat. Good leadership is to have the capability of moving ahead of others. Even emulating other good leaders is also not a good leadership quality. Prakash Karat being comparing other stalwarts, should have borne a dynamic quality to lead for success. Budhadeb was working under tremendous constraints imposed by party leaderships!

The real problem is your own superannuated ideology
by mammen antony on May 18, 2011 02:35 PM  | Hide replies

Communism never learned any lesson from their mistakes. They never updated their theories in accordance with the times. In short Communism is no more a solution to the modern man, and see the living examples of the same in Kerala and Bengal. These states are in shambles. In addition to that Kerala commrade, the octogenarian VS has started his own version of the Communism by polarising the society on casteist basis, Ezhavas and Non-Ezhavas, a Gujarat model of Polarisation is underway by Communist veteran.

Fear started creeping into our minds , the moment the number of right wings shoot to 150 from a paltry 2 MPs when Indiraji was the PM.

long before Achutandan came on the scene the Congress divided the society on minority and majority lines ( divide and rule)..this in turn gave birth to communal agenda of muzleims ( muslim League) and Christians (Kerala Congress) Instead of blaming Achu you should blame the church and madrassa for bringing up their communal agenda on the Kerala society...

PRAKASH
Dear Mr. P. Karat,
by PRAKASH on May 18, 2011 02:34 PM

CPM leaders never open their eyes towards the truth . If in W. Bengal a party with out a single seat in assembly could grow with 1/3 majority in a span of 15 years then all CPM leaders are simply fools. Such a cadre based party in which a local committee member could question any top most leader on a party platform, even most wrong thing have been questioned on such platform. But new generation leaders never tried to listen such voice. what never in the previous history of the party used to happen.
So correct your self first dear comrade Prakash Karat, teach our young generation about true communism. I am sure a true communist leader is required even today. Other wise we will have- 2Gs, Adharsh, more Reddy's who will steal our natural resources..............

End of communisim
by Biplab Kumar Saha on May 18, 2011 02:32 PM

1) Communisim is outdated.
2) However it is not possible to end communism from outside.
3) It can be made scrap by some powerful or effective person from within the party itself, Like Gorvachev in Russia.
4) In India Prakash Karat is Gorvacchov of Indian Communism.
5) Thank you Prakash for this.

How can u be so quick on the uptake? the world knows that you are a perfect DUNCE. Your downfall has much to do with your "bigger than boots" thinking. Notwithstanding, CPM or TMC means same difference-a choice between rock and a hard place.
