Mr Karat - you are the problem
by Gautam Sinha on May 18, 2011 01:57 PM

I think the policies of CPM and the consequences of it all have gone for a toss after Mr Karat took over. Blaming Land acquistion etc is just an excuse. The thinking and attitude itself was flawed under his leadership and the land policy is just a symtom of the actual problem

BJP is led by forward caste community
CPM is led by forward caste community

Forward caste community is tacitly supporting the Italian instead of supporting Muslims/Christians/Anglo-Indians/Sikhs/BC/SC/ST communities.

I DO NOT KNOW WHEN....
by chandrashekar nayak on May 18, 2011 01:42 PM

Mr Karat, I do not know when will Communists learn from their past mistakes. By the time next Assembly Elections in Kerala and West bengal, your two bastions, about 80 % of Leaders would have become " Allah Pyare" and handful of leaders like Yachuri would be left. They may eventually end up joining " THIRD FRONT( ?!@#$%^&*)under the ngreat leadership of C B Naidu, another reduntant leader in his own state.so tell me, who will learn lessons? when? what lessons you have learnt in last 35 yrs in W B? You have done many mistakes in the past but do not seem to have learnt anything. Only visible contribution of communist govt in WB is intrusion of 3-4 million Bangldeshi Muslims, your core vote bank.

CPM will never admit their mistakes
by manoj on May 18, 2011 01:41 PM

Widespread violence by CPM goons, police firing, murder and rape were the methods used to grab land in Nandigram and Singur.

This was the REAL reason for their defeat in all recent elections:

2008-panchayat elec
2009-parliment elec
2010-municipal elec
2011-assembly elec

CPM willl never understand or admit mistakes

I started my professional carrer in W.Bengal in 1968.Being a specialised Metallurgical Engineer, I joined the then premier company in same bsic field. But over 5 years I realised that I had little to expect in any respect, given the daily trauma that had to be faced with production, since CPM union which controlled the factory was least concerned about anything to do with prductivity etc.I finally left Kolkata, like so many others I know, and yes I am proud to say that I not only carved a small niche in my line of qualification, but headed some of the BEST organisations in Mharastra and Gujarat, in simlilar lines of activity.I feel sad that I could do NOTHING for my place of birth, thanks to the likes of Karat and his predecessors. Nothing dear Politbureau members will bring back my lost efforts.Look into the mirror of time, you will see the ugliness you have created.I despise you all.

SOME FACTS about CPM for thinking
by Shan Shan on May 18, 2011 12:58 PM  | Hide replies

1) All the PB members are above 70 years except BRINDA who is having 64 years.
2) KARAT and few of his collegeous in PB never face election
3) Never admit or accept recent mistakes but admit after 30 years
4) Simply killing opponent cadres or leaders - Saddist approaches, especially in Kannur and some parts of WB. CADRES are licenced to KILL and party collecting public money to fight KILLING CASES or supporting the family of GUILTY.
5)Trying to keep most of the bureaucracy with left think-tankers and 75 percentage of state gov staff would be left supportes, they need to pay some monthly amount to party to cater thier interests.
6)Not allowing opponents to rule or allow them to take position in any gov body or emp unions, CPM would try thier level best to topple such person with thier muscle power or govt staff or police power.
7)Politicising all type of govt functionaries even state police, teachers, etc
8)Govt benefits routed to party cadres
9)They themsef not interested to work and not allowing others to work.
10) PB and CC Supporting goons like JAYARAJANS (EP, MV, P and PINANGARAYI) in KERALA.
11)MONEY LAUNDERING and BLACK-to-WHITE business by many local leaders and act as BROKER for many illegal land deals.
12)The days ahead for state gov in KERALA and WB would not be easy as we can expect many HARTALS and BANDH for simple reasons, strike and act against any good deal by gov and normally they would follow the same when they get power.
