KARAT HAS STILL NOT TAUGHT A LESSON!!!
by khairnar on May 17, 2011 08:49 AM

The statement supporting the Governors report, we strongly believe that Karat and its comrades not yet taught the lesson they have got from the people. He is telling that Yediyurappa is continuance in office is wrong. We fail to understand what he has done against constitution of India. Somebody compalints against misuse of land and allotment of lands from the chief ministers discretionary quota to some of its favourits which after the expsoure he himself cancelled the transaction. What other corruption cases all are highlighting here!!! After all, all the Cheif Ministers are doing the same thing in all the states and why the Congress and others singled out a main Opposition Party ruled states as their target and terming this as illegal!!! If at all, they are thinking that it is illegal, then all types of discretionary quota given to CM and PM to be abolished, goes to Parliament and pass corrective bills for that. Karat and his comrades forgetting that when Nandigram and Singur were becoming hunted by state sponsored police terrorison supported by comrades, what constitutional law and order break down happened in your state and that was of course may be a reson to dismiss your leftists govt. at Centre. If Karat and other comrades telling that Yediyurappa is a corrupt one, then all the Governments who had more corrupted and exposued by various investigating authorites including courts and higher courts, such as UPA2, UP should first to be dismissed.

No one is questioning the numbers

Whether the disqualified MLAs would have voted against or for the govt. is not ascertained. Without clarity on this, how the majority is a manufactured one. Wrong decision by speaker, cannot be basis of dismissing the govt. Let the house select a new speaker. The same MLAs who were dismissed, are now with the govt. That means, even if they were not dismissed. They would have supported the govt. Going by the congress demands, the PM and HM should resign when SC quashed CVC appointment.

The congress party considers that has the monopoly to cheat, loot the country and stash money in Swiss banks. They know all the tricks in crookery and are now claiming IPR (intellectual property rights!)for it. When the nation questions them for the 60 years of loot, plunder and chicanery, they point a finger at "petty pickpockets" and say they are corrupt.

Read SC verdict. Read implications of President'e rule
by Basant Bharati on May 17, 2011 07:28 AM  | Hide replies

Now SC has set aside previous court’s action which had validated speaker’s ruling and declared 11 MLAs as part and parcel of BJP & there by added 11 to the head count taken by Yeddie (two times). SC has NOT SAID THAT THE SPEAKER AND CM SHOULD BE SACKED FROM OFFICE FORTHWITH.

The MLAs have agreed for the leadership of Yediyurappa,

There is no constitutional break down. Government is functioning, development is happening.

Law is taking its course in various courts and under Lokayukta on the allegations against Yeddie.

If there was anarchy and constitutional breakdown, people would not have elected all 3 BJP seats in byepoll.

So where is the question of imposing the President's rule and making BJP to sweat out?
ON THE OTHER HAND It may lead for further sweating of Congress already tainted in multi scams BY BRINGING Smt. INDIRA GANDHI’s EMERGENCY EPISODE FRESH TO THE PUBLIC MEMORY.

Mate you seem to have a very short memory on BJP's horse trading aka operation lotus in Karnataka. Last yeat Oct, these very same 11 MLAs were disqualified in a hurry in order to fail trust vote by the speaker acting upon a CM's plea which is what is called constitutional breakdown.

Agreed, Bob.
Horse trading is not good for the likes of BJP. But it was a leaf picked up by Yeddie from the Congress book, a mere reaction to continuous toppling attempts by Congress JDS combine. That is a legalised shortcut by political parties to use the loopholes of anti defection laws. And that is the order of the day.

Now noone prevents Congress to pull the switch and face the consequence. Let them go ahead.
We will watch the fun, Bob.

is the job of the supreme court to be merely editorializing or is it to render a ruling? so hey, sc judges, if the speaker's action is illegal why don't you have the guts to say so, and overturn speaker's ruling? the fact is sc knows it is not illegal, but it deems it right to join the chorus of congressi cry babies who are whining "oh, it's so unfair, those bjp walas won't let gandhis rule; it's gandhis' baap ka maal to rule, not bjp's; oh, oh,oh it is so unfair to the italian, wo wo wo.
but it ain't illegal. and that's the bottom line. so, you congressis, knock it off with your whining, ok?

If Sonia Gandhi dismisses Karnataka Government
by Basant Bharati on May 17, 2011 06:49 AM

and create hungama and make BJP to sweat it out,

1. CAN SHE BE ABLE TO DIVERT THE PUBLIC
ATTENTION FROM SCAMS 2G, CWG, ADARSH?

2. Suppose Karnataka comes under President's
rule and there is re election after 6 months
CAN HER LEADERLESS PARTY IN KARNATAKA or
JANATHA DAL GOWDAS PARTY BEAT BJP and come
to power?

Is she not exposing Congress to more risks by
deciding to sack Yeddie now?

Is not wiser to do this by legal channels thro courts and Lokayukta?
