How comical it is to take cognizance of the fact that

the same con-gress, which was till few months back, going gung-ho by bearding the apex court on every saga, be it CVC Thomas, CWC etcetera, has now, reposing in its newfound WISDOM, started abidng by its order as if a mullah going by Ku-run.

This jumped-up Manish Tewari is literally "nonpareil", a museum piece. He seems out to lunch 24x7.

Con-gress is world's most organized, ogreish cocktail since the slice bread, which is out to put India to rout.

our faulty democractic system
by biswanath roy on May 17, 2011 10:21 AM

narsimha rao when he was PM bribed some MP's prior to the no confidence motion & was able to save his govt, & the SC in its decision said what happens inside the parliament does not fall in its jurisdiction.similarly in 2008 mms also resorted to the same method to get the indo-us nuclear deal passed in parliament. now bjp too has opted for the same successful method of bribng & buying its 11 rebel MLA's to save its beleagured karnataka govt. both the ruling & main opposition party bjp are using illegal modes to continue in office. unfortunately this is the fault of our democratic system. the constitutional framers in the mid 1950's had not ever thought that 40 years later the democratic system here that they had envisaged would fall into such low levels, which are similar to tactics used by wheeler-dealers & crooks. jai ho india.

By the parameter of courts ruling :

1. MMS should have resigned - on not one, but various counts from CWG to Thomas to 2G

2. Central Govt should have been dismissed and new elections announced - on all the above accounts corruption as a whole ISRO Inflation

Congress knows that Yeddy has the numbers. If govts could be dismissed due to allegations of corruption,no central or state govt will survive. The central govt with all the corruption scams has lowered the image of India and Indians.Congress can't digest the growth of BJP and is using all excuses. The Karnataka state Congress has no charismatic leaders and will be routed in the next elections bringing BJP to power with a massive mandate.

By what stricture passed by SC against Dr. Singh you want he to resign?

Can you mention some observation which has indited PM the way it has indited Karnataka CM and Speaker.

SC questioned if he is a PM or not & also asked if he does ever act?

Kettle calling the pot black?
Congress professing 'constitutional propriety'? a big joke? India is supposed to have a democracy Of,For and By the people? But in reality it is Gandhis and Nidhis who are (mis) ruling?

The people don't take this joker Manish seriously. He goes on talking and does not know when to stop. The more he comes on TV, the more Congress loses votes.Better for opposition parties to provoke him to make more stupid statements.

It is correct to demand speaker & CM resignation
by johnson Singh on May 17, 2011 09:54 AM  | Hide replies

In future any government faced with a trust vote need to simply disqualify those who oppose them....buy time & buy the MLAs to ensure that their government is not losing manjority....

BJP has set a very dangerous precedent...AS USUAL BJP WILL NOT TAKE ANY ACTION WHEN IT IS AT FAULT....

Do you recollect how Dr. Singh cobbled up his majority with cash for votes? Or how PVN continued to languish at the throne with certain MPs from Bihar?
FYI, what the MLAs have done in Oct-10 is anti-party activity, siding with Kumaraswamy and remaining incommunicable to the BJP leadership. They were on the verge of splitting the party to support JDS-Congi combine to mount the throne.
My friend, don't be biased.

Do you know what r u saying? It wsa BJP who was doing the frantic calls in the ensuing midnight of the Debate to lure people. There was no Congress man who had showed any interest to buy any MPs. Even Sudhendra Kulkarni the assistant-director of the drama has confessed to this.

Mr. Tripathy, wonder what you are speaking about: mixing issues to suit your arguments. It was caught on camera that the nation saw bundles of notes paid by your power broker Amar Singh, being on the tables of the Parliament, the drama enacted by Congress, the director of the entire fiasco: Fence sitting MPs like Sangliana (ex-BJP) etc who were paid to abstain from voting, MPS who sold their votes: all this was Directed by Congress. Don't deviate or twist facts to suit your arguments. Let us debate on what the Rebel MLAs have done in Karnataka and how the SC has erred in its verdict.
Also, try dismissing the Karnataka Govt. and see what happens to the Congress. They already are without a credible leader, trying to piggyback on a pig of a politician Kumaraswamy.
My appeal is let the Govt function its term. If the people are satisfied, they will vote it to power again as in Assam, Bihar & Gujarat. If not, what happened in WB, TN will happen to BJP in Karnataka. Don't make Yedyurappa a political martyr.
