While west and china trying their supremacy, we need to make sure our interests are served. We need UNSC membership. We need more money to develop our infra. We need more money to modernise our army, navy and airpower. Let us get them and secure ourselves.
It is not about principles anymore, it is about Survival. Givernament burecrats, if you cannot make this happen, you will go down the history as useless people, with your own wives and children suffering under and both China and West. Useless bureaucrats, get up from sleep and work as a team.

Prof Mahbubani's analysis "is hitting the nail on it's head" We need to learn, even if from a rival. Ganesh you are right, we need money for a lot of things, including capital & Transportation infrastructure, defense, education, HR Development etc... But where can we get the money from? Meanwhile we are piling up useless IOUs in the form of forex reserves, which is useless. It is like the value of the only house you stay, shoots up from 15 lakh to 1.5 crore. You feel richer, but can't do a think about that, as you can not use the increased value to enjoy. The billions of IOU that we have can not be used other than to import stuff high tech stuff, that India do not manufacture. Or we can get our Young people educated in foreign universities and use the forex to pay fees, or buy up oil fields and mines and commodities abroad. Within India, this IOUs are toilet papers.... Money needs to be made available from within our means.... The Chinese used their savings to fund their growth and not borrowing. They also let FDIs in infrastructure ( very smartly ) as unlike investments in shares and bond, the investors can not free and take away the port along with them :).... Nothing wrong in learning from rivals... It does not matter what colour is the cat, as long as it catches mouse...
Wait till the chinese hear about democracy.. how politicians make money in neighbouring India. Strikes , Processions and Riots.. from Us,, India will level out,,.. Just a matter of time... This Chinese style dictatorship is not going to last for ever
If we allign with China , China may make India a dumping ground of Inferior goods or we may have to shoot space walk in swimming pool or in the depths of ocea.So lets us allign with the countries who are far advanced in technology .Lat but not the least we dont have to allign with the country which dont care about democratic values

Our local business are bigger looters. So we should be thankful that because of them , we get cheaper products. Just see, how cement companies have formed a cartelisation to jack up their product prices. If we open the door for chinese cement companies, the real face of Indian counterparts will emerge and I bet it will be very bad.

Samartian ...... do you know a fact that all Chinese cities are much better than any Indian cities ... Cost of living in those cities are much higher than any Indian countries .... Do you know whay it happens. This happens because Chinese artifically reduce their currency value to get an edge over other local manufacturers around the world.Actually what chinese are doing is an international crime .Just to protect their intreastes they are reducing their currency value. So its essential to ban chinese goods to save other local manufacturers around teh world

You are talking the language of our businessmen who actual are crooks in the guise of running their industry with inflattable income growth. I again reitereate my request that if cement of chinese companies are allowed in India, the prices of cement of domestic companies will nose dive. Healthy competition is always good for end users i.e Customers. Cement companies have not seen the light of competition so far. Don't go by articles which are paid news in newspaper and electronic media. Cement sector has yet to feel the pinch of competition.

China is not a cellotape economy. They manufacture great products, which are not cheap. Blame the Indian importers, who imports sub standard products and sell at cheap price.... Please do not underestimate the Chinese

We need a chinky "MANU" for that. They already have a structured scoiety thanks to the politburo, we just need to embellish it a bit.
Let India and China grow apart. As far as we have concerned we need to have alliance with technologicaly superior countries like US , Russia, UK , France , Japan in the feild of Medicine , Space , Defence , neculer ,Education and in Telecom sectors. We dont have to alligine with the country which always stand with our enemy and dont favour democratic values.

I won't oppose if India is declared as Monarchy in place of democracy...
A Country who is goolam at least 3000 years ... still does learn policy of Defence of nation, policy to defnce of national interest and policy of safe india ethos and culture. in near future u will see the vanish / distroy culture of a great country (india) for which their people are really responsible.
