No words to explain the contribution that Uncle Pai has given to the Indian masses.

When we wanted to to gift children of orphanages something of worth, we immedeatly thought about the Amar Chitra Katha comics. ACK were gifts that our social service organisation used to regularly present.

His contribution to the Indian Psche is enornmous and cannot be quantified.

Great service to the Nation of INDIA.

INDIA salutes Uncle Pai.

Great Person

I have got into the habit of reading only because of the interest that came from reading ACK. Now, even at the age of 41 I still buy Tinkle / Tinkle Digest for my children and read along with them.

I can tell that he is very innovative in his approach to rouse the interest of children.

I remember Uncle Pai and his wife visiting our home in Delhi. He was very soft spoken and a mild mannered man. Many may not remember that he had started a personality development course called "PARTHA".

I do not remember a single person of my generation and some others who have not been influenced by the entertainment, humor, history & values which Uncle Pai communicated through his ACK & Tinkle comics.

My humble last respects to this great soul.

Uncle Pie vs. Others
by Mafia on Feb 25, 2011 03:03 PM

Uncle Pie, We love you and you are the true hero who let us know what exactly is to uphold the tradition and culture of our beloved India. Whereas we forget out true heros and fight for Bollywood heros and Cricket Stars.

I only sincerely hope that we know and give more respect to the true hero's like Uncle Pie who have done a lot without letting others down. Media please grow up and introduce us more of such HEROs like Uncle Pie, if you truly love your job.
