Lokpal Bill
by Asadul Haque on Jun 01, 2011 11:21 PM

Both Mahesh Bhatt and Panikkar have raise very valid points.Lokpal Bill cannot eliminate corruption unless the preventive measures are addressed. The members of the civil society are not well represented and not transparent enough.Anna Hazare's praise for Modi have encouraged the communal forces in India which is detrimental for the nation. The communal forces must be discouraged and defeated in every front in the country.Anna Hazare have done a good start but a lot of modification needs to be done to make the movement successful.

corruption

The corruption virus been there for long, seems detected now in epic proportions and now discussed more than ever.

The question is that a virus if not totally destroyed should atleast be brought in control to have a more healthy society by large.

Mahesh Bhatt should explain what dangers he sees in the lokpal bill rather than terming Anna Hazare and his clan as authoritarian.

This Narendra Modi angle is just a way of diverting and showing people that Anna Hazare isnt true and right to his moral standards or beliefs. And even if he isnt, as far the lokpal bill curtails corruption to some extent, I think it is a good for the country and it's people.

Whenever something good happens to a very corrupt country like ours There are people Who ty to divert the cause . Film directors are good at entertaining people finding out grey areas of the society creating a theme and entertain people the targetted audience to eke out a living . is this coercion story is also with an element of entertaining the public . We all know whats what and truth about Anna we do not need Maheshs findings to whats what. Once you go to any corruption free nation willunderstand the magnitude of the malady. If India reallywants to grow as a power this elements must be rooted out

Ridicule them
by Mahi on May 09, 2011 06:48 PM

persons like Mahesh Bhatt and Pannikar are able heads who find opportunities to indulge in intellectual Prostitution no matter what. Betrayal of majority is their way of life.
Ridiculing them is the only deterrence.

Corruption is a myth - a string of jealousies by the have not!
by vinod sailes on Apr 30, 2011 03:05 PM  | Hide replies

Corruption is a cheap term, an obsolete instrument made use of by people in an attempt to outclass those who manage to amass huge amount of wealth through whatever means possible. The wealthy who earn huge amounts are seen as an eyesore for the less fortunate and well-to-do section for the only reason that they do not get a part of the booty so earned by the former, or are they ever included as favourites for a share of what they earn. Incidentally, the term corruption has become the catch word for preying on the wealth of the fortunate people in order to implicate them in one case or the other.

Literally speaking, each one of us is corrupt in one way or the other. It is another matter that we are not pulled up under relevant section nor caught up with law which, these days have no time but to focus on their achievements on TV etc for which they spent a great deal of time.

Anna Hazare needed an applause and he got it for free. It is said that Anna Hazare even contemplated suicide on one occasion and wrote a two page essay on why he wanted to end his life. Can a person with suicide tendency carry an initiative for a nation of over 1.2 billion heads?

On a closer scrutiny, it appears that the initiative to do away with corruption came from wrong quarters. No person with scant education, a maimed mentality, regional approach and petty resolve can move with the time. Anna Hazare made a bonfire of all that the democracy stood for.

Are you justifying corruption just because it is just another way to create haves and havenots?
For you there are only two types of people those who are looting the country and those who are not getting the importunity to do so?
If a woman is being ra_ped in front of you, you would try to struck a deal with the rap_ist or simply make him run away so that you can replace him? because you don't want to be left as a havenot .Isn't it?
How do you define the statehood?
What does the society mean for you?
Do the words like integrity, conscience, morality and God exist for you?
Or may be you are a fan of film Director Mahesh Bhatt.
