The quality of health care can be realized from this thing. Last week I went to a hospital here in US, complain of ear pain. To figure out what is the problem the doctors took 2 hours and came up with idea to clean my ears. They referred me to 2 other doctors just to remove ear wax. Even with purchasing high insurance and taking appointments, it took me 3-4 hours to remove ear wax, total cost 70$. Compare it with India (I guess its Rs.100-150, without any insurance). Guys, India rocks with affordable, quick and effective health services.

yeah you are right india rocks in cleaning ear waxes, dirt in anoos etc and the doctor who saw you anyway know the hygiene level of indians are too low,why dont u clean ur ears once in a while after munching on some curries,so that you could use that 70$ to even purchase a new human ear from india
Isn't it funny just two decades ago Indians were vehemently opposing globalization??!!! he he he ... Every such attack on India is an indirect salutation to INDIA.... Thank you Mr. President.... Now how about attacking other sectors in India??

Yes...that should be the perspective instead of being "upset".
Cheap also means inexpensive and need not be automatically extended to being sub-standard or trash.
Cause of our population we have talent and that's available at reasonable cost. This is our strength. Nothing to be ashamed of it to be upset about. India is not running sweat-shops like China does.

When he was elected I thot he is a great guy with great vision. Now it seems he is a limited thoughts person with blurred vision.
American medical system sucks! Really pricy, not available easily at all times and very heavy on insurance. Indian medicine on the other hand is very affordable, good quality and readily available.
Obama is absolutely right. Doctors in India have been increasing rates and Indians are not getting good treatment cost wise and quality wise due to this medical tourism. This is not a solution for healthcare. There is a current quote for doctors, doctors are more corrupt than Indian Police because doctors kill the patients without patients and their relatives knowing about it. I am tired of these bloody doctors in India.

Moron Medical colleges of North India are entierly based on comptetive enterence ( barring government mandated Qutas) Where as there are shops selling degrees for ruppee in Maharshtra and SOuth .. Get a life

For your kind attention, in south too medical students are selected as per entrance exam. There are certain private medical colleges in Karnataka that do not maintain standard, but those who are serious about quality of education hardly opt for such insitutions.
Said nothing wrong. Accept the truth. Those who are opposing, I will request them to visit all Govt hospitals and mushroom nurshing homes of India and America.
Without worrying unduly about what the rest of India thinks about his rants, guess what.
Obama cannot decrease the healthcare costs in the US, not can he control americans consuming tonnes of junk. He has become famous for his posturing remarks.
