Why are people so agitated? Cheap and Expensive refers to price. It has nothing to do with quality. If you can offer higher quality at cheaper price, what's better than that. So, Obama's comment is really a compliment for our medical system.

Also the fact that Obama n his Yankee Asses always keep hatching conspiracies to patent (Pirate) things from India like Basmati, Haldi etc before & Yoga, Ayurveda etc now is a true compliment that Indian Culture is really standard in that even a so-called developed ass like US is forced to become a thief.....

He said its cheap here. In American English cheap means "low cost". That is a compliment to us! Indian english (incorrect for the word cheap) means low quality. You understood wrong. Media loves doing this! They skip clarification to make us post such comments.

The word 'Cheap' in itself doesn't mean anything unless you look into the context of the next sentence where he mentions 'high quality' medical care in USA which implicitly means healthcare in India is not good quality.
May be Obama is right everything is cheap in India Cheap Labour Cheap Health care (Cheap For Americans-Its costly for indians) Cheap polititians (They can buy whole parliament for a song) RASTE KA MAAL SASTE MEIN
GLYCID-M USED FOR TYPE-II DIABETES HAS DOUBLED ITS PRICE IN RECENT DAYS. SIMILARLY, ALL ANTI-CONVULSANTS, MAINLY MAZETOL WAS ALSO ESCALATED ITS PRICE TO DIZZY HEIGHTS. THERE IS A NEXUS BETWEEN THE DRUG CONTROLLER AND THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES, THE FORMER GETTING KICK-BACKS FOR THE PRICE RISE AND NOT TO RAISE ANY OBJECTION. GOVT. OF INDIA HAS NO CONTROLLING MECHANISM TO CURB THE PRICES WHEN MILLIONS IN INDIA ARE AFFLICTED WITH DIABETES AND EPILEPSY.

people like you should be made to buy medicines in the US. Then you will know ...
Unlike our two-faced politicians, Obama is at least honest he has his country its economy and welfare in mind, why should we feel upset about it! As long as we are in stiff competition I think its alright!

He may be supporting his own economy..but why he has to call someone cheap health care..shows his arrogance and hatred for India. Hes jealous and our media and some people still blindly chant the name of obama as if hes god..He deserves a kick from our people.

Obama is showing his true colors. Our Media should atleast now understand and stop giving hype to this fellow. OK..If we are cheap..we will treat him like a cheap fellow. US is a cheap country with cheap minds and cheap people.
People coming to India for treatment is only due to cheap treatment with same facilities as of US, if US can provide the same, good. But does not look practical, as value addition and income of US doctors are 10 times of India.
