black box to be made white to public to avoid kahaniya it should not be in dark ,it is a technological innovation to record reality of pilots cry for life.
This accident at Mangalore Airport would be probed and the blame would be on the Crew, since they are no more. Providentially if some one survives, then the blame would be on the Engine , weather, sabotage etc. People would not have forgotten the Train accidents in Kerala Peruman Bridge- Findings-Tornado theory, near Calicut _bridge collapse findings-underwater earth quake etc. While the reason for such accidents is the wrong design of the track/fatigue of the crew/ system failure, a realistic investigation could be held by an independant Accident Investigation Agency. Till such time we shall have such incidents/accidents. God save us.
D'souza point is junk...you look at any Airline schdules including Emirates kind of supreemly comanding safety for more than decade with out any comparmiize..never had Mangole kind of worst...let me tell you...unless Pilot is totally boozed it will not happen in aviation...Before writing I do aware of aviation & Net Runway avilable kind of basics etc but pilot did massive n fatal mistake...This is not the result of ftigue or some thinhg realted to worlload...This accident is more realted to pilots booz during the flight. nothing more

lol ... the plane cannot takeoff once it has slowed down ... it needs to speed up again before it can takeoff ... and for that you need runway

U r right Loan shark absolutely if there was a long runaway it could try to stop within its'd istance.Absolutely pilot error for landing 2k FT on the runaway.

what would you say if this happened on a longer runway ? don't jump to the conclusions before everything is investigated !

logan and colville , please wait for the investigation results . It is true the plane overshoot by 2K feet , but you don't know the reason behind it . It may or may not be because of some cokpit instrument fault and it is not fair to blame anyone at this point

Its better we dont blame anyone....damage has been done and its time we find solution and avoid such accident in future
