bandh
by Suhas Joshi on Jul 05, 2010 08:30 PM  | Hide replies

The protest against price rise was essential. But nobody should support the destruction of public and private property only for the reason that somebody is not supporting the bandh and not towing their line. Everybody has his opinion. There should be stringent action on those responsible for property damage, not only in this instant but in every time somebody damages hard earned property of public and private ownership. What happens is those doing it are politically stong and are shielded, nothing has been done so far against them Give them a strong deterent and things will improve.

Those who don't support bandh are not affected by inflation of over 16% for over 20 months with no end to it .

So they shud not mind a little tax for not supporting and mocking the aNGER of the people.

Next Best Option to Bandh

....when exremely hungry poor ppl in france went seeking bread ,
marie antonnette-the queen said " if they don't have bread to eat ,
let them eat cake !'

This incensed them so much to the apathy and insensitivity of the
rulers they started a revolution that ended up with capture and
chopping of the heads of each one of the high officials.

Its known as french Revolution .....indian mor0ns whine about 1 day
12 hour bandh to protest the insensitive , apathetic M0ron singh
led UPA.

BHARAT BANDH
by jagdeep khanna on Jul 05, 2010 08:23 PM  | Hide replies

RAID OF INCOME TAX TO BE CONDUCTED AT AGRICULTURE MINISTER PLACE. HE IS MAIN CULPRIT FOR THE PRICE RISE. HE SHOULD BE LEFT TO THE COMMON MAN AND THEN SEE HIS PATHETIC CONDITION. HE ONLY " MINTS" MONEY. ENRICHED WITH MONEY BY INVITING HOARDERS . NO CONTROL ON ON HOARDERS AS HE IS PART AND PARCEL AND SAME IS WITH FINANCE MINISTER.
WHY THE BUDGET IS PRESENTED? TO MAKE FOOL OF THE PEOPLE.

IS PM SLEEPING? HE HAS LOST ALL HIS IMAGE AS HE HAS NO CONTROL ON HIS CABINET COLLEAGUES.

PEOPLE ARE CRYING AND CONG PRESIDENT IS SLEEPING. NO CONTROL.

TODAY SHARAD PAWAR GOT THE BEST OPPORTUNITY TO "MINT" MONEY SO HE WANTS TO GET THE LOAD OF WORK REDUCED.

THE EARTH WILL BE REDUCED OF LOAD OF SUCH "INHUMAN AND SELF CENTERED BUTCHERS'

IF FINANCE MINISTER AND PETROLEUM MINISTER AND PETROLEUM CAN GIVE THEIR MOBILE NOS. I CAN SENT THEM THE PRICES OF PETROL IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES OF OUR SUB CONTINENT WHICH ARE CHEAPER THAN US AND WITH WORST ECONOMY.

OUR PETROLEUM CORPORATIONS ARE IN HUGE PROFITS BUT THE DOCUMENTS ARE DOCTORED TO BE PRESENTED BEFORE THE PUBLIC

WHY THESE MINISTERS DO NOT PAY " INCOME TAX"
DO THEY HAVE REPLY? WHY SO MUCH PREVILEGES ARE GIVEN TO THEM WHEN THEY DO NOT WORK?

CAN ANYONE REPLY?

bandh for Food not OIL
by vikramjit singh on Jul 05, 2010 08:20 PM  | Hide replies

Oil should not be the main motive of bandh the food prices and bad manner's of handling of Mr sharad pawar of food supply should be the main reason for bandh. He should be immediately dropped unless the government needs him for survival

Bundhs do not help anyone
by Sanghamitra Malik on Jul 05, 2010 08:17 PM  | Hide replies

It is futile to have a bundh. It is harrassment for one and all. There is no production, no work done in offices and hence a great loss.Passengers suffer as well as the sick. The daily wage workers and all petty businessmen/women lose their day's earnings. It does not in any way help to sort out the problem one has ventured out to solve. It makes more sense to protest in a civilised manner if one must.It is not the rise in petrol, diesel, LPG and kerosene prices but it is the constant rise in food prices that is killing the ordinary Indian and every Indian needs to rise to the occasion and fight against that as well as against the rise in salary and perks being proposed for our most corrupt politicians. They need to be penalised for their corrupt acts, not rewarded with a rise in salary and perks. It is totally futile to organise Bundhs.Let us see what good Monday's bundh can do for us!
