Price rise
by Narasimharao Chitturi on Jul 05, 2010 09:02 PM

How much price rise is required to nullify the loss sufferred by the strike? There should be better way of expressing public opinion instead of cutting your own legs by striking. Strikes suit the left parties who always want chaos in the country to contain their political power. Public should understand the leftist agenda on every thing the Govt does whether it is oil exploration or manganese/bauxite mining etc. At some stage subsidising should stop so that the economy can chose a planned path. Only timing of the price rise is wrong and benefitted the left parties who are ready to sell off the country to Maoism/naxalism/terrorism. Let the left parties refuse their proposed pay rises etc to show their sincerety to public. Empty rhetorics and slogans should stop. The Govt should postpone the price rise decision for the time being by appointing a seperate commission to go through the whole process of price fixing.

iNDIA BRUTALLY MURDERED BY CONGRESS AND SONIA GANDHI,the ITALIAN CATHOLIC

In last 2 months, 500 Indian children have lost their BELOVED DADS.. because of CONGRESS.. many more are bound to lose..

what Indians are doing at home?? why dont they protest on roads to deploy Army in these areas?? is this good governance?? what problem did Indians have when BJP was in power, when inflation rate was non appreciable, when a common poor Indian had sufficient financial strength to purchase all the commodities required to live a happy life?? when naxals didnt dare ever to do such crimes?? when terrorism was confined to border areas?? Is AAM AADMI now HAPPY?? does aam aadmi want murder of our brave soldiers?? why is this aam aadmi wants to succk balls of pakistanis?? why is aam aadmi blood thirsty of Indian soldiers??

In 2004 elections World media was astonished Indians voted Congress to power instead of BJP who gave incredible good governance.. the best five years of India 1999-2004, since independence.... when India was shining with 9.5% GDP and 3% inflation rate .... now 6.5% GDP and 16.9% Inflation rate under Congress rule

muslims and christians who form 20% of total Indian populaton.... are 1% in Indian defence and form 99.9% of terrorists in India .. become 50% of the total voters because majority of educated working Hindus dont vote..

Indian govt is elected by these muslims and christians, the enemies of India.. what do they lose if 100 are soldiers are killed?? nothing.. Co

UPA need to go.
by Madikeri Abu on Jul 05, 2010 08:55 PM  | Hide replies

First of all let me make this absolutely clear that the UPA has government has failed miserably in controlling the prices of essential commodities and has lost the moral authority to rule the country and if they can't safe guard the interest of the common man,in whose name, it has come to power, then it should quit.
But having said that I strongly condemn the action of the opposition by calling the bandh and making the life of common more miserable. I can understand the mindset of the left parties, a bunch of anti-national who work in the interest of Chinese, who frequently conduct bandh and haratal in WB and Kerala, thereby retarding any economic growth and which inturn keep the poor, poorer, their main vote bank, but what I don't understand is why NDA has followed their footstep? I was thinking of voting for NDA in the next election, but after today's action I think, it is better to abstain from voting because today NDA has proved it is no different from communists.

Silly Excuses by Half Knowledge Mor0n mohan Singh ...
by Almighty on Jul 05, 2010 08:52 PM

,....bewakoof chanchas.

Prices went up due to population .

Dal prices shot up from 48 to 100 in matter of weeks....so population doubled in weeks , whom are we f00ling ?

If china can keep inflation 3-4% why indians are getting ripped off by over 16% inflation ?

Just bad planning lack of anticipating dembnd, non support to agriculture , no real attempt to gran oil reserves when oil was low....all this is the reason why indian are suffering.

another example
by Indian on Jul 05, 2010 08:41 PM  | Hide replies

ppl just don't seem to get it. I am breaking it down for everyone:

Let us take the example of Toor Daal. It used to say cost Rs 20 Per kg 10 years back and now it costs Rs. 100. Now there are reasons why it costs Rs. 100/Kg:
-->This obvoiously is because there are more ppl wanting to buy Toor Daal then 10 years back. More Demand, less supply. Why?
-->The standard of living for many ppl are better so they are able to afford better food now.
-->We depend on Monsoon for our yearly dose of water. The govt. did nothing for the last 60 years to harness the water or for that matter any of the natural resources, due to corruption. The knowledge was there, but there was no will. So now we have a few bad monsoon's and there is less water for agriculture.
--> ofcourse, population increase, if u don't know why? then u deserve the bandh and inflation.

The only way to reduce inflation in the short term is to import Toor Daal from outside and highly subidise them, so that common man can afford it. you cannot grow them overnight. So Govt. needs money to buy them from the outside market.

Now if you do bandh, even for a day, the govt looses this buying power to reduce inflation and it hurts the economy.

It is as simple as it gets!!! It cannot get any simpler than this. If you still don't get it then you deserve the inflation and the bandh.

the govt will solve the problem. They will apply for a loan at the world bank and get money and buy whatever you need for comfort at the short term and inflation will go down. This has been happening for years, so why stop now. If it not us who are going to suffer, it will our future generation. But then it is not us, that is the good part. Let our future generation fix this, it is not our problem anymore....

Why are you talking of 10 years back?
Why not consider the price before the last election and now after the election? Did demand suddenly increase ? Is there suddenly a boom in the number of Indians in the country?

Think about it and then say why the price has increased.
Demand and supply is fine but when the demand has not increased where is the supply going?
Import Toor dal but stop sending it out first. We all know how the prices are manipulated. And the aam aadmi is made a fool of.

have you ever considered the fact there is less goods in production then it was just a few years back. All you need is just one bad monsoon, and we already had 2.

What do you think MMS and Sonia are exporting all the goods to Italy?

ur typical dumb a55 with limited knowledge.

dal shot up from 48 to 100 in matter of days , so you are saying population grew suddenly to double in matter of weeks ?

Its bad planning by agri-mister and govt led by mor0n mohan singh.

china has similar ecoomy and population but inflation is just 3.1% but india has had over 16% for last 20 months and no end to it.

keep the population constant and reduce the number for goods available in the market. you have the same situation again. you guys are dumber than i thought.. good luck with what ever you have planned...

if you like china so much then you should go and settle in China. China is doing good for a reason:
1. It is a dictatorship, if they want to increase production, they will make you toil against your will to get it done.
2. If you protest, they will shoot you.

Don't keep repeating like a parrot that China is doing good and India is doing bad. The moment the Indian govt will tell you to lift one finger, you will start cribbing and complaining...
