it would be good if rediff also mentions about the author's details and his background. His knowledge base and whats the base of the article. did he do some research to write it or just out of his mind made the story.

There is a comedy sequence in one of the tamil movies which aptly describes the racism/regionalism and all the other types of bias in us Indians. In the scene, Madhavan of 3 Idiots fame will say some lies about Vadivelu(one of tamil cinemas best known comedians today). A huge crowd will gather around Vadivelu and Vadivelu will plead that all these are lies. For which one of the guys in the crowd will say, a fair skinned fellow will not lie. This is the predicament. We Indians have this wrong notion of fair skinned, english speaking and add to it a regional flavoured guy can do only good things. Fellow has blatantly flouted all norms and these guys want him to be made CM just like in TN people want Jayalalitha to be made CM even though she is corrupt.
A Lalu Prasad Yadav atleast seems better in this case. He is corrupt and he does not make any bones about it. God save this country

Dont defend one issue for the other issue. Lets deal with each issue separately. This is basically confusing all issues together. The fact is Shashi Tharoor was caught with his pants down or else why would he have to be asked to resign?

Does Tharoor belong to BJP? Look whose talking like a stupid. Raja and Lalit Modi are both crooks. The whole world knows. Because of alliance pressure Raja is still sitting pretty in the minister's gaddi. As for Lalit Modi, he is not a minister. It is for the IT department and the Enforcement Directorate which need to take action. Please be clear on what you talk before jumping the gun buddy

I do not understand why the Kochi IPL team should be banned. First of all you all should understand that the money Kochi team consortium has invested is private money and not public money. As far as I know that Kochi IPL team won the tender after bidding the second highest money. Hope you are not from Ahmedabad or not working with ADANI or videocon. It seems that only Tharoor is the culprit and everybody else ( Both the mody and other political pimps) are saints.
