INDIA HAS BETTER EDUCATION HERE ITSELF !
by sakharam deshpande on May 31, 2009 11:54 AM  | Hide replies

AMITABH HAS STUDIED IN INDIA,SACHIN STUDIED(HA...HA !!)IN INDIA,LATA MANGESHKAR, A.R.REHMAN,SUNIL GAVASKAR,MAHI DHONI ALL STUDIED IN INDIA. But,there are some who still reel under the influence of 'white-skin'.We must understand that this white world envies India and Indians for what they are.Our boys are more intelligent and stand out there too. This really irritates them. Their boys are becoming a frustrated lot since our boys get their jobs in their countries, solely on their merits. I have studied in India, being from a middle-class family of lecturer. I have been working abroad since 1996 and won many accolades from my different employers/clients. Really, I thank the education system and teachers in India who are leaving no efforts to nurture the younger generation and that too preserving our culture. Can you find any lecturer drinking beer with his student? I request all parents to refrain from over-estimating the foreign educational systems, even if they have big money. Our government should make some efforts to popularise Indian education abroad rather !

All the people's listed above had poor fathers who were unable to send them abroad. Check where these peoples' children go and enjoy. Even Lata Mangeshkar threatened to leave India if a fly over passed besides her house in Mumbai.

i have done my studies here and finally got my PR. Sg is a Asian country and no racial discrimination.

I think its better students from India should try to study in Sg or HongKong to gain international exposure instead of UK USA Aust etc

Most of the people who are going to australia go there not because of the fact that australian education system is better than that in India. Its cause of the fact that they don't get admission in good indian colleges and their family has enough money for their children to get that easy foreign educated tag (without burning any hole in the pocket).
Even with these people if the aussies have inferiority complex to start physical racial abuses, wonder what they would have done if even a small part of our IIT/IIM/ISM/RIT/NID/NITIE etc have gone over there to study!!!

If Varun gandi goes to break the hands of Australians he will come back with four bandages. that is why he is not speaking. Now poor Bachchan has to improve his popularity by this stunt, but better stunt than Varun.

Blown out of proportion
by sameer on May 31, 2009 11:52 AM  | Hide replies

This is ridiculous. Too much is being made out of the media. Problems like this happen in every country, even in Indian. Its not racial, anyone could have been beaten, unfortunately it was Indian students. Have you been to Melbourne, the no of Indians there are so much that the probability of such an incidence is high. Why? If we had demonstrations like this in our own country for every incident that happens we would be well off. This is being blown out of proportion by the media.

Be open minded... grown up.
Aussie pups, ridiculous. Have you ever befriended them, talked to them... oh no we are soo cool for that. It's another story that Indians dont mingle themselves.

But this story is about an incident which has no relation to racism.

Yeah I bet Indian students in Australia are more safter than in India itself.

How come the media isn't concerned about that. Oh wait that won't make too much money will it. It's the same boring news, someone is being tormented in india. Let's look at something spicy which get us some attention. Seriously people are more smart than this. Those who aren't are just brainwashed by the media and need to be a LOT more open minded.

Problem is right now Australian govt is refusing to accept this as a problem. Sure they happen in India and if it happens to an Australian in India, they shout from rooftop. Indians attacking Indian is a different matter than Indian being attacked by Australian. Its about a stranger hitting a family member. Stop being too broad minded and blind.

They happen in India and we dont refuse they are about race or hate. They are refusing to accept this is a racist incident. Just because X happened in India means Y can happen in Australia doesnt make sense. I was going to visit Australia in december this year. It was one of the top destinations on my list. Now I dont need to visit them anytime soon. It is about standing upto these wackos for our countrymen. If this was not discriminatory, then Indian students wont be protesting. What is appaling is that Australian govt seems to show soft corner to attackers.

Are you serious? You saying that you believing the media, and that Australia should accept all this.

I am an indian student in Australia, for the past 4 years, no incidents. Dude no incidents in any part of Australia, and I have been to the country town and the big cities.

Get to Australia and then tell me, if this actually happens to you.

This is not racial at all. This is an incident, where it was *unfortunate* that it was an indian student. Again I am saying, get to Melbourne and see the no of Indians on the road, they are so many that the probability is high for these kind of things to happen. Simple Math

Australia is a Country of Criminals deported from England. Propensity to commit crime is embeded in their genes.

Earlier they were hunting down the aborigins like wild animals and now they are targetting the "brown niggers". That is the only difference.

Cynic, OIC support to terrorism against India is a bigger problem than the Australian one.

We have lost nearly 50,000 lives to OIC supported terrorism.

But I guess it is financially more convenient for Mr. Bachchan to refuse an Australian PhD than to refuse a show in Dubai.
