So what. Look at the points he told instead of just looking where he comes from and what religion he is etc.
My suggestion is that Govt of India should implement a law on advertising for 'Study in Australia' which is carried on most of the news papers. These advertisement 'like the cigarette packets, should have warning 'going to Australia may be injurious to health'. Further India should announce evacuation of all 95000 students by special planes like we did during Kuwait Iraq war time. This announcement alone will draw the attention of the world to Australia and expose their racist behaviour.
The man suffering in the hospital was "generally" safe till, unfortunately, the generality vanished and he was blown away. Ganesh is presently "generally" safe.

He says that Indians are GENERALLY safe. Does he mean that Indians are safe when they are at their homes or does he mean that Indians are safe when they are in India?

generally safe means that not everyone targets you becauise you are an Indian ... and not every Indian gets attacked
