Centre is "unenthusiastic about paying homage to the Kargil heroes today -- Vijay Divas -- on petty political grounds." what do all the dynasty party supporters have to say about this??

absolutely true! no one ever hears about these real-life heroes, all we hear is tendulkar, laloo and mayawati. it's a indeed a waste of life for a country which doesn't even acknowledge the supreme sacrifices that these bravehearts hv endured!

so Mr Test lemme know one work you have done to make India a better place? look at your contribution.
Myself and Ajay Ahuja were class fellow in engineering college, staying in adjacent rooms, doing electrical engg. But he was very brave, very intelligent and always wanted to become a Fighter Pilot and serve the country directly. Through NDA exam and after rigorus medical test he joined Air Force leaving behind his first of electrical engg.
Though I have not kept much contact with him thereafter except meeting in some party or marriage. I was abroad when through TV news I came to know about his supreme sacrifice for the country.
What I want to say is that had he decided to remain in engg. he would have been living in some big city in India or Abroad enjoying life like all of us and writing some stupid messages cursing servicemen but because of his pariotism he took all the pain and gave away his life so that we all could remain in peace.
Think of the great sacrifice he has done for the country and write some good messages solacing his family and encourage young ones.
I think this write up is one of the finest tributes to Kargil heroes and heroines on Vijay Diwas. Rediff should publish more articles on Kargil war widows and how they are doing/coping. My heart goes out to Mrs Ahuja and Mrs Bina Muhilan. And the families of other Kargil victims. I wish them well.
A retired army officer once told me something like this. The nation which forgets its farmers is not worth living for, and the nation which forgets its soldiers is not worth dying for.

I agree sir with you.If it was Indira Gandhi, then by now we would have declared war.We ppl are biggest, largest, deepest fools. We think only vote is our weapon,or protest,or riot.No please.Eg. If Muzzie to be taught a lesson, then just boycot films staring Sharuk khan, Salman Khan,Sameer khan including Video Khan.Jst don't see films. It is a regret that when Salman killed many pavement dwellers,in a drunken spree by his car, earlier killing an animal in Rajasthan, this proposal was put up but nobody followed. When SS said tamil movies to be boycotted ppl followed.I think SS shd initiate this and teach a simple nonviolent lesson to Muzzie till death is awareded to Afzal & Kasab. If this is done then message is reached to congress. How many will follow? Can we start now.

Try freeing mountains by sending people from down below, the first wave is just cannon fodder and they know it. That's how it works.US lost millions in the WWII, and perhaps hundreds of thousands on the shores of Normandie alone.

iraq is US folly,We went get our land back. try foghting nay climbing up a hill at sea level yourself and then imagine clawing up a frozen barren rock with not stones but bullets whistling past Ur bums. we got our land back but Americans have always withdrawn in ignominy and Iraq is no diffrent.
