Srinivas G:

Read the above article....

Rambal, whose company Perdaman Industries plans to build a 3.5 billion dollar urea plant in Collie, south of Perth, told students at his former university in Nagpur on Thursday that Indian students had provoked the attacks on themselves.

I think when I looked last, Nagpur was still in India..... you think otherwise?.... ;-)

Yes sir, I strongly agree with you; Nagpur is an integral part of India. We can not allow anybody talk otherwise. We'll raise the tricolour in the city centre to prove this point.

why do you want to do that. Sitting here in India and in an AC office, when you can pass a verdict on Rambal, why cant he comment on something and about a land where he has lived all his life. Use some common sense not emotions!!

Thanks Mr Rambal
by Vivek Dev on Jul 14, 2009 10:01 AM  | Hide replies

Thanks for standing up for the truth Mr Rambal. More people like you from the community must stand up to nail the lies of the Indian community and media. Indians possess no civic sense, neither any sense of responsibility. They misbehave even in India against their fellow Indians can they be expected to conduct themselves responsibly in Australia. The Australian government should proceed legally against the Indian media and sue for damages it has caused to Australia's reputation.

Kevin Rudd can not be expected to be politically incorrect on this issue. Even John Howard would think twice before taking such an action.

Maybe Pauline Hanson... :)

Enough of this Political correctness .We cant say a few things on every day happenings as it would hurt the feelings of a community.Saying the truth is not uttering blatant lies and pass it off as the truth like well i do not want to say.Western civilisation while brought in liberalism they are also not willing to call spade a spade as it could be dubbed as racial and communal. The obseravtions can be made on emperical and qualitative data and we care damn for the truth but we do listen to manufactured lies paassing of as truths .The observations of the those who are directly involved we dont want to say they are not true but we also have the intelligece to differentiate truth from untruth to come to conclusions .Media hypes every body knows about it Hindi media is much worse .Instead of vague generalisations specific information need to be sought which GOI must be
doing .Howard is a /natiional political leader and he will not say any thing to hurt bilateral relations .But here we in India as intelligentia can come out with actual reasons being the attack and come out with ameliorative action .
My friend who has migrated to canada was telling it is because of sikhs from the hnterland of Punjab negative feelings are generated .My friend is an educated sikh .Should I accuse my frien of salndering indians or accept that as truth

Thanks buddy .Why should I plagiarize any thing from any body .I don’t work for Bollywood .Reading the obscene messages and angry and mindless no holds barred attack on those who beg to differ .We are emotional but we can also try to be sensible .Analysis should be based on factual data including thoughtful observations to come to conclusions .Are we really civil believe in liberty –Voltaire said ‘I may not agree with what you say but I will defend your right to say till my last breathe ‘ the foundation of all liberal democracies .I really liked your comment and would enjoy your original messages .You are a noble soul By saying so I am not trying to be politically correct but bloody correct

Attacks on Indian students
by Ramakanth Rajagopal on Jul 14, 2009 09:58 AM  | Hide replies

Well... This has never been a Racist attack. But when the SMH came up with headlines saying 'CURRY BASHING" that's when the indian media started bashing the aussie media and the police . I have been living here for the past 17 years. These incidents have been happening for a long time but this time the Indian students has raised this issue. As everyone knows Indians are very calm and quiet people there was a limit and this time they couldn't bear it. Well our own people have been undermining our people .. I have a question for them.. Indians in US and other coutries have been living for generations but has anyone haerd of Indian gangs or indian Mafias killing people. How can one say that we are very rowdy people.
I have experienced lot of problems with the Lebanese people. I am not baised or racist , but this community has been a black mark in the Austrealian society. The students who have been experiencing such incidents are not from any other community . Its the Lebanese gangs who are very actively working in groups and create such a mess in a peaceful area. In Sydney whenever there is an incident of shooting , rapes, assault its always in some particular areas where these people are active.
So mydear friend who is a businessman in Perth, please refrain yourself from such absurd talk and meet the students and new immigrants

ramakanth very good, australia is open , throat cut competition place where only efficient can exceed , so they have problems, but dealth of more 40 indian student in australia dnot show any reason that whole things are fault of indian students, i never read any paper head lines, indian killed,or raped anyone, created obtruction for any one,,minor things happen everywhere , on one canbe punished , beated publically , there is law to take care of , it is fact, australia law are very strick in money punishment, which is very big deterrant for indian student, because they are very short of money,,australia have problems, it is not indian , but score of other comunity like chinese, asiaan are also victim, i have been to usa, uk europe, newzealand,i never heard of any indian gangs, smuggler, majority of indian people are peace loving and keep themselves in peaceful and legal ways,,
so it is pity , indian at home and at australia intreprenting in different ways, we need to listen only authorative ways, instead of personal ways, we need to go in depth and come out with practical solution and more security for students

Dear Mr. Vikas Rambal, it seems you have forgotton Indian Culture. We Indians are most patient entities. For arguments sake even if Indians are drunk and "making merry" does mr. Vikas claim that Australians are not? And who has given them right to take law in their hands? Is Mogalia there in Australia? Can these so called law abiding Australians not complain to the enforcement agencies?
Do remember the loan of your home country and do not make any foolish statements which will provke similar reactions in India.

Indian students should be trained

I think new Indian students bound for Australia should be trained to use deodorants and also to drink and leer in moderation. Things will improve.

Deo s? No. Not really necessary. We are way more hygiene conscious (who atelast shower once a day) than the aussies. But drink and leer - yeah , now thats a suggestion. And also talk less rubbish and hot wind.

Simple principle is : when you are not sure of some thing, don't say it. Better still don't adorn your stupidity with flowery language and anecdotes.

Average per capita in Europe: ~$50,000. Average per capita of South Africa: $11,000. Average per capita of Nigeria: $1500. I think we will be a Super power in JUST a few years LOL.
