Is It that Goans showed that they want Regional Plan through polls?
by sanjay borkar on Jun 05, 2007 10:54 PM  | Hide replies

Is It that Goans showed that they want Regional Plan through polls? this question is very obvious when one see the assembly poll results. RP allegedly masterminded by Cong., for which goans hitted the streets, to scrap it and had said that they will scrap all the MLAs involved in RP. But Babush Monserat is back in the Power? Goa gone away from Goans!!!!!!

If u r given a motorcycle, sewing machiine, etc for every vote u cast, then will u think of the regional plan??? Parrikar also didn't help matters by "allegedly" having an understanding with Babush.

cheers

Why the Bitterness?
by on Jun 05, 2007 10:40 PM  | Hide replies

It is sad to see all of you bitterly acusing each other based on your religious beliefs. Remember that religion is a set of beliefs and principles to guide your lives in a socially positive way. Almost every religion projects a message of acceptance, brotherhood, and peace. I wish you would understand this and reflect it in your interactions with each other. However nasty someone else might be, nothing positive ever comes out of confrontation. You will certainly not change the opinion of the person you are confronting. Hatred only breeds hatred. Find the best values in your religion, follow them, and stop hurting each other. Peace begins with you.

yes, its going in that direction. When in the name of 'secularism' , minorities are pampered, given extra rights, its start of communalism.

That's the reason, why Modi could comeback with thumping majority even after Guj 2002 where 700 Muslims and 300 Hindus died.

No amount of cros tears by psuedo polemicists cut any ice any more, BECAUSE THEY KEPT MUM WHEN 400000 DRIVEN OUT FROM KASHMIR, OR WHOLLY PURGUED 10S OF MILLIONS FROM NEIGHBORING BANGLADESH.

@Abraham : Here are some facts:

Hitler (and specially Mousolini) were courted by the Pope.

Vatican got statehood when facist Mousolini wa ruling Italy.

Ask any average Jews, they will enlighten you the role played by Xtian Church in abetting Hitler and his anti-Jewish position.

Martin Luther, founder of Protestanism, was anti-jewish to the core.

Average jewish actually laugh when they hear that Indian Xtians are opposing Hiter. They PITY on your folks for such poor sense of history.

And can we compare BJP/RSS's complicity with Nazis now? Even after so much effort by so many anti-Hindus for so many years, not a single link between RSS and Nazis have been found.

Bhaskar..you need to stop your HATRED campaign buddy..You dont seem to have any love in your life and just hatred. Guess someone might have hurt you badly and you are showing that hurt in this forums by your nonsense messages. Go and take some help from a shrink. It may help you and teach you to love others. Indians are known to love one another but you seem to be a misfit in my country (India)

rallying minority in the name of religion does bigger harm to the society and make hindus united.

but you folks are so devilish, you want to rationalise minority's hold onto indian politics and perpetuate that.

it doesn't work in the long run.

Worse, it cuts minorities from the mainstream of the society.

I am not rallying anyone against anything buddy. All I am saying is there is a way to express your voice (in a decent and ethical way) as you said India is a free country and everyone has a right to speak. I am not denying your right of speech. I want you to be considerate to others too who read this forum and get offended by your comments on minorities. And who is devilish? One is showing soo much disrespect towards others like you? Your views are your own and you have every right to express them here but you cant force your views on others. Just coz you know the entire history of this world doesnt make you a great scholar and abuse other people based on their caste, religion and race. Sitting in an AC room and writing comments by bashing other religions is not sensible at all. Get out in the real world and see what is happening around you instead of commenting from some place far from reality.

Bhaskar bhai you are raving pal. What is the reason behind all that hatred stored in you? It only hurts you in the long run. Enjoy life, get out of the internet, make friend among all communities and you will find that all are the same. All feel pain, love sorrow and even hatrd like you pal. They also bleed when they are cut, feel sorrow when they loose a loved one. get out of the well of hatred you are in pal for the love of god , any god, hindu , muslim ,christian or otherwise before the acid of hatred consumes you.

Advise to @India
by Bhaskar Chattopadhyay on Jun 05, 2007 09:13 PM  | Hide replies

@India : As an Indian, if you vote for Congress, nobody objects. But as an Xtian, if you vote for congress, its not good sign. As an Xtian, when you start BJP bashing, its even worse.

WORST OF ALL IS: WHEN CHURCH DICTATES ITS FLOCK TO VOTE FOR CONGRESS AND OPPOSE BJP.

THAT'S THE END OF DEMOCRACY AND SCULARISM.

THE SOCIETY, EVERYBODY WILL NOW GET RADICALIZED AND PEOPLE WILL PAY THE PRICE.

Its very simple.

I used to be hardcore CPIM supporter all thro; out my life.

But 911 and Parliament attack has brought out change in me. I became a BJP supporter ONLY after fall of Vajpayee Govt.

Congress's future is doomed. THE WAY CONGRESS IS RESTORING TO USING OF RELIGION SHOWS THEY HAVE LITTLE TO OFFER TO INDIA TODAY. IT SHOWS THEIR DESPERATION AND FAST LOOOSING SPACE IN INDIAN POLITICS.

BJP CAN GET ONLY EMBOLDENED WHEN CHURCH OPENLY GIVES A CALL TO SUPPORT CONG/OPPOSE BJP.

BEST OF LUCK:)-

Great Indian Democracy
by Signs on Jun 05, 2007 08:49 PM

Every country has a Right wing political party, Left wing and a middle path taker(compromise guys). India it is BJP, CPM and Congress respectivly. Congress can never call as a fully functional party like CPM or BJP. It is just a crowd of anti-bjp(anti right wing) and anti-CPM (anti left).
Christians and Muslims noramlly vote for Congress as they are not the right wing party.
All these years congress was getting the vote from Dalits and some of the OBC's and ofcourse the Brahmins will rule. This is secularism of India, all relegion and caste has a representation.
If really wants to implement secularism, there should not be any discrimination by relegion or caste. This will reduce the load of the Village offices for issuing the caste certificate. No reservation based on caste... So tomorrow a SC or ST can claim that his forfathers were Brahmins as there is no way to prove otherwise. Great dreams...Never going to happen Ha.. ha..
Corruption wise no difference between all thes parties, equally corrupted...Then people has only one option switch between parties...
BJP and CPM are extremists so they are little more dangerous than Congress.
