Although theoritical education itself does not reflect the true picture (of personality and other traits) but the article is quit informative.

I feel towards the Congress side Manmohan singh is the best person to be nominated for the post of Prime minister. He is the man who is well educated and knows the country better than any other politicians in the country. He has been the Governor of RBI, this we he has very much clear idea regarding the GDP and Inflation. He has proved himself as a good Finance minister during the regime of P.V Narsimha rao. Now it is his time to prove himself as the best Prime Minister and Lead India to Prosperity.

How qualified are our PMs ?
by Dr.S.S.Sareen on May 21, 2004 02:02 PM

Dr. Manmohan Singh will be the PM with the highest qualification so far. He is honest to the core and has come up from a poor family, a self-made scholar who rose by his merits and not by political push-pull. India needs a PM of his stature. We pray to the Lord to give wisdom to the lawmakers to let him work in peace and take the country to the level he he has promised. Normally promises are made by the politicians to be broken. But we are sure he will prove to be an exception. MAY HE SUCCEED.

What has he accomplished in the Pakistan issue?Nothing. The only thing he is expert in is to spout gibberish in his poetic style. His recent remarks have shown that he is hungry for the thrown. He underestimated Sonia which is his biggest mistake. But now he has no option but to keep mum.

How qualified are our PMs ?

It's good, our "would be PM" has enough of knowledge. It would rather be more good if he works well in the interest and for the welfare of the public, reduce country's unemployment ratio and minimise poverty line.

I agree with you. This is a perfect example of diversity as the 2 top most posts have been occupied by the persons belonging to minority.I really hope he will make our economy stronger. He has shown his capability as the finance minister.

How qualified are our PMs?
by raphael sebastian on May 21, 2004 12:51 PM

Thank you Rediff for your special information about the qualifications of our PMs. Both our President and PM are in a high plane of academic and professional qualifications, and both are coming from a high profile background, lets hope that India shine particularly on literacy and also benefit from their wisdom.

Unfortunately, todays trend is that politicians merit only one qualification POWER. Power wielded and wedded by money and muscle. Shall we think about another referendum about the minimum educational qualifications for our future President and PM?
