Too biased
by Raj on May 06, 2004 07:28 PM

"Even though Indira Gandhi was clever, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto negotiated a winning settlement in 1971, despite 93,000 of his soldiers being prisoners of war in Indian hands."

In view of the world, Indian had no business of getting into Pakistan's internal issues and War... India had already caused bi-furcation of Pak and there has to be a limit on how much you can humiliate a defeated enemy... I dont understand how the author reached on his conclusion that "Zulfiqar got winning settlement.

Oof... Too much!!! I remember immature school guys getting into such baseless allegations during gossips but we certainly expect better quality articles from Rediff...

Though author himself clarified what he used to do during his harvard days, rediff.com may well think whether they are entertaining him just for brand name and no quality...

Oh yeah...pictures do speak!

Rajeev,

Your reference to the "intriguing photograph from Outlook magazine dated April 5th." was amusing and not one bit intriguing. I guess you never meant to be serious with such a piece.

Anyway, let the junta hear your interpretation on the this photograph of Mr. Vajpayee. http://www.tribuneindia.com/2001/20010716/17nat.gif

Incidentally, this one is from The Tribune Online edition dated Monday, July 16, 2001.

Oh yes, this photograph was a big hit among the Indians worldwide and was doing the rounds of the internet like a chain mail!! I am sure it must have been the work of some pseudo secularist, or maybe some Muslim or Christian group.

Or maybe Vajpayeeji is thinking of adding bawanwi kavita to his compilation "Meri Ikkyawan Kavitayen"

Chupkar teri aankhon mein jhanka,
Ay saki is mad ko jhalkaya
Uff..teri yeh zulfon ne chupaya
kumbakht camera ne pakadwaya......

Bhai, yeh "Steely Dan" kya hai? "Bhu-Dan", we all know was a movement.

Grow up, Srinivasan
by Ananya Mathur on Apr 29, 2004 11:10 PM

What a terrible bore you are, Mr Srinivasan! It's soooo obvious that you are uncontrollably jealous of Rahul G! Take a cue from all the hate mail you receive and retire gracefully. But then I guess the word grace is alien to you, considering that all your so-called 'columns' are poorly-researched, mostly fictional, thinly veiled vitriol aimed at Mrs Sonia Gandhi and her family. Your readers may be 'gentle' but c'mon, we're not entirely stupid!

Nice Article

Well for people who want to use this article as toilet paper I have a suggestion- Please use Rahul's degree certificate instead- if you so strongly beleive he has one. I am told that it has very good absorbent properties.

What is the election commision doing to verify such false degrees?

the mind boggles does it?
by P K Rao on Apr 21, 2004 03:06 PM

V K Krishna Menon 'disastrous'? Benazir a 'brilliant student and speaker' at Oxford U? Where does this writer get his news and views from???!! Being president of Oxford U Students Union doesn't automatically make one brilliant. Truly, the mind boggles. This coloumnist so completely lacks the basic skills required to make a cogent argument...

Rahul has an MPhil
by P K Rao on Apr 20, 2004 09:47 PM

Rahul has an MPhil in development economics from Trinity College, Cambridge. What academic qualifications does the author have? Very little, going by this article, which could have been written by a high school kid...

This is the great article by Rajeev. we Patriotic Indians will not elect foreigners or foreign origin Indians whose heart always beat for west and let other blind Indians (Communists, pseudo-secularists,..) rule us.
