Well worded and real outburst of genuine feelings. It basically refers to the core of the issue. Each blast actually is scaring people across India and all cross sections. So it increases gaps between neighbours since people start looking at each other with doubtful eyes.
Coimbatore has been so troubled that no major investment has come to the city after blast. So even the fighting groups if local are not benefitted. So there should be national efforts to resolve issues.
Terrorism will grow only if hatred is there.
If that is removed and confidence is instilled people might not get into all this.
The benefitors of all terrorist acts are political parties and no one else.

Good Governance' may be first step
by Sravan Kumar BVVS on Sep 01, 2003 05:49 PM

This interview text should be read by our Top Decision Makers of our Country/States [Politicians].

What I feel is that the very root cause of the problem is not being considered by our governments ie., dividing people, creating differences for fetching votes. They also go behind Pak/ISI for every bomb instance with our really investigating.

As Mr.Balachandran says 'Coimbatore bombing' can be taken as the best case.

'Good Governance' may be first step to solve these kinds of problems. Who knows when this will happen ?

Exactly we need people like him to seat on PM/CM Seat.
With this vision and direct decisions. I'm realy proud as people like him are with us. But very sad they do not have any strong position or voice in our system ( rotten ).
What abt the custom officer at Airport.. do u know the corruption there.....

by sameer surnis on Sep 01, 2003 05:36 PM

can anyone responsible to make policy decisions take a serious note of what MR. balachandran is saying.
This offcourse considering the long years of service he has put in the intelligence network.

You are right Sir, today the bombings that are taking place is more organised. What about our Police, yes they are inadequate, because where is the motivation, no organisation. There are a few of our Police Officers who are really great at their job, what about the others these are the sour grapes which ruins the whole bunch. This interveiw with Mr. Balachandran is very hard hitting & thought provoking. Mr. Chandran we hope you can get a few of our super cops together & reinstate the 'Watchers Group' atleast in Mumbai. Yes, this blaming business is going on for a long time and we the citizens would really love to see Mumbai flushed of all these terrorists.

Dear sir,
I have read each and every line of your article. It is the best article and have made a clear picture as far as the Politics in India and Indian system for security works. I agree with each and every comments for the political heads and Police officers. Now a days the police force is totally useless.

NRI, INDIAN.
