My advice listen to only Tamil version that is Endhiran. I rate Tamil Endhiran 5/5 but Hindi version 2/5.

Actually the songs are great! There is a strange thing that happens with every Rahman music.
When you listen it for the first time, you feel its very average, but when you keep listening atleast 5 times, you start feeling the music is great. The music grows on you or you develop a taste for it.
It’s like drinking beer. First time you feel what a horrible drink, how come all the people in the world drink this. But after drinking it for 5 times atleast, you feel it’s the greatest drink.
Besides, Rahman is a versatile composer. He has sucessfully composed Bhangra, Sufi, Qawali, Hindustani, Tamil folk, Carnatic, Western, hip hop, melody, melancholy etc and well appreciated by that segment of the people.
So what if you don’t like the music? It is simply not meant for you, there is always a segment of people who are dying to hear his music. If it’s not for you this time, then you are not lucky!
reviewer didnt consider following things. 1. Its a rajni film. the music should not go away from his image. punch of the film will get lost if we didnt consider this factor. 2. Its a shankar film. 3. its sci-fiction movie. 4. after all its ARRAHMAN music. considering all these to merge into one. this is a good composition. you will like it after some repeated listening.

In tamil version except "Irumbile oru Idhayam" and Arima the other lyrics were letdowns...I cannot believe how Shankar let himself down with completely useless lyrics..
Rahmans music was GOOD, not an epic but still good...more than sufficient for a Rajnikanth movie..Rahmans previous movies for Rajni were all ranging between average to poor...Muthu, Padayappa, Baba and Sivaji..this one is better than the rest..
I repeat for a Rajnikanth film its more than enough..Rahman is not composing for a Kamal, Manirathnam, Gautam Menon or K Vishwanath's film for crtics to analyse..
Rajni fans are celeberating the gypsy and circus costumes worn by their idols in the stills..if a common man wears them it would warrant stoning in beaches and public bus stops...they should worry about their idol rather than criticizing ARR.

All the mentioned rajini movie songs were big hits during that time , just stop all your crap and get lost you loser.dont think your self to be smart , originally your are an vaitherichal group of people who cannot resist rajini's popularity.growup man go and do some useful work . endhiran will release then you people will not know where to hide your faces.
