bollywood mega budget movie directors are all confused. they dont know what they want to make. directors like SLB want to show their class but want audience to churn out money. either make movie for self-satisfaction and dont intend to make millions from it, or make movies with sole intent of earning.
How can blockbusters be disasters ? Disasters are caused by the stars. One factor common is those useless Bachchans. Producers and Directors are fools to cast them. I feel sick to read SLB is planning on casting AB Jr. in his next (ad)venture.

lols. so why do so many other movies by other top actors also bomb ? its not one family or other, its the entire industry who have the dynastic culture over talent

Action Replayy: Replace Akshay and Ash with SRK and Deepika. It'll be an instant hit. People somehow relates it to Om shanti Om getup.
Guzaarish: Replace Ash with any other new comer. I would prefer Sonakshi. It'll certainly work. Also change the end of movie with positive voice.
Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey: Only Amir Khan can make such movies work. So Replace Abhishek with Amir with any new comer actress. Even deepika works if they remove the Revelon lipstick she exclusively used in all the scenes :-)
Dabangg: Replace Salman with any hero and Dabangg will be instant flop of the decade. People just love to watch only Salman. I am not talking about ppl comenting in this forum. But those who live in small cities, towns and even metros. Validate with them.

if people just love to watch salman, then Veer, London Dreams and Yuvraaj should have been the biggest blockbusters.... dabaangg was just a fluke.

Totally agree. The common factor in all flops is Ash and Abhishek. People don;t like them anymore
SLB is a guy who makes depressing films. One could not sit through any of his morbid films, Sawariya, Black and the latest Guzaarish, I do not even wish to see. It's either handicapped or drunk people or depressing themes. Am really unhappy that Hrithik has ended up in duds despite his selectiveness. If the Khans are the gold standard, God save us!

Awesome! Finally someone got the irony in this Sonil-wannabe-reviewer's failed attempt to bring down the movies to his level in the garbage.
Indians are copycats.... most of the the said blockbusters are remakes of other films.... moreover too much publicity and zero story-line results in blokbuster disaster !
When you brought in idiotic American lifestyle/slangs/idioms/dialogues/sex into Hindi movies, I stopped watching Hindi movies, especially in theater. Lost originality and flavor of Hindi cinema. You hardly see anybody uttering Hindi dialogues in movies anymore! Nobody is even acting anymore. Uttering English dialogues is NOT acting!!! Anyways, good luck!
