More than how many years they will play, it is important to note that they have not been replaced yet and they are still match winners at their respective fields ;)

Logical flaws
by Prakash Gomathinayagam on Sep 20, 2009 08:14 PM  | Hide replies

I see lot of directorial faults and logical errors ?
1) As usual instead of Character, Kamal is very much visible as Kamal - not a good acting
2) What Kamal is going to acheive by killing 4 terrorists who does not mind getting killed. TV show also says they were killed in accident. at the end - what is the point.
3) Stereotype projection of muslims and Terrorists. Tamilnadu Muslims are very different, lot of my friends don't even know Urdu/Hindi. Kamal does not know Tamil Muslims.
4) When showing a terrorist with Al-Quida in photo, the foto was funny ( al quida members were wearing very obvious visible fake beard ) - very low budget.
5) Dialagues are pretty bad.

Only one good thing about the movie is, with very few characters, we are able to sit and watch the full movie. screen play is somewhat good.

Little surprised with your review comments! I think you watched this moving with out knowing tamil otherwise in whatsense you say 'dialogures are pretty bad'. May be you did not understand the english words used inbetween dialogues.
i dont think kamal criticized tamil muslims. anyway you try to be critic and to an extent succeeded.

I Dont think that Prakash wont like these type of good movies without the masalas. thats y he's talking like this.. i dint c much faults in this movie. The camera and screenplay was brilliant. Chakri toleti is a find. he has well portrayed the movie...

I am suprised to see ppl like Prakash who seldom appreciate good cinema and are being cynical for the sake of it. Screen play is excellent . there was not a soul who left the theatre during the entire length of the movie

I compare movies with Amaerican Beuty not Vijay's Kuruvi. There are very few movies in Tamil that facinates me, that makes me sit and watch fully, that makes me immerse, like 7 G Rainbow colony. so critic is best for our Tamil movies to grow stronger and richer. to show the kolyywood, we do have fans with fine taste buds.

I don't watch movies for the hero. I watch it for the story, for the director. Different stories affect different people just like food. I see authenticity in 7G Rainbow colony. After seeing the movie, the movie was haunting me for a week - I say that a good movie.

Please Prakash, dont talk about these religious things over here... He's not telling much about the Muslims and all.. Ok. He's briefing about Terrorists only. That may be Hindu, Muslim or may be Christian or a Sikh... Dont say like that.. k.

by common on Sep 20, 2009 07:03 PM

No extra getups, shouting dialogues, medium BGM,no masala songs or kuthu songs, good message and above all what a performance from kamal and lal...there cannot be a better script for both of them to act.Whether it is remade or original it is best!!!!
