Shortcut is a copy of Malayalam Superhit "Udayanannu Taaram". I seriously doubt whether the movie producers has bought the copywrites. Udayanannu Taaram (meaning Udayan is the star) was a superb film. In shortcut they have just copied the same plot and added amrita rao in the so called glamourous role, added some more songs.

There is a degradation in movie quality as it gets remade from mallu->tamil->hindi. So even a good mallu/tamil movie is bound to get screwed up in hindi
please convey this message to the director of kambhaqt ishq who has made this worst movie of the decade,it is even worst than ramgopal verma ki aag,why these heroes didnt understand that it is nt sex,its not heroes nor heroines makes the difference it is the story of the film which gives the impact to a film,they are promoting the worst film which we cant watch even with our parents,they are spoiling the culture of india,because of these type of film only girls in india are not safe.

the worst movie of the decade did akshya kumar watched this stupid movie himself it was worse even than tashan , chandn chowk to china
it is fault of rediff administration who still carry on with this nut inspite of various readers abusing raja sen since more than a year now! raja had crossed all the limits when he gave away the suspense of movie RACE in his review...

If you have problem, you should not read. As long as his reviews are concerned, I consider above average quality. Atleast better than Taran Adarsh who gets paid by big movie houses and give good rating to rubbish movies
raja sen should say negative abt all the movies.Its really gud.becoz whichever movie he talks negative abt becomes a big hit. eg New York , Kambakht Ishq........
people have been abusing raja sen's review since more than a year but rediff administration is indifferent to reader's opinion. whose fault it is?? raja sen has more than 2 stars only for u know which movie star! dont even need to mention... :)

Seriously it's not your fault, your minds have been absolutely corrupted by watching movies like race, kambhaqt ishq and phony wannabes like New York. so much that your entire creative side of the brain has been wiped out. I think Raja Sen knows more about movies than any of you knuckleheads who have probably No Entry as their all time favourite movie. Geniuses Y'all!

I second that. I dunno y it has become fashionable to throw brickbats at Raja. Let him do his job. If u dont like his reviews then chuck it, no! Having said that, I had no hopes whatsoever with this movie which is a sad rehash of the Malayalam hit "Udayan Aanu Thaaram" (Udayan is the star).
The 'join-the-dots' concept of story telling concept is a brand new way to review the creative works. Great review and truly world class write up. Thanks Rediff for giving us Raja Sen regularly.
