this is a remake (sorry inspired) by a malayalam film "Udayanannu Thaarum" its high time that our filmmakers try and make original movies even Priyadarshan who has made some memorable movies in the south ends up remaking most of the hit films in Malayalam to hindi cmon guys wake up and give us fare like A Wednesday, Mumbai Meri Jaan, Oye Lucky etc

Udayan Annu Tharam while a good film was a rip off of the Eddie Murphy-Steve Martin Starrer Bowfinger
Raja has credited Aneez Bazmee for coming up with this script. How ridiculous. The original script is by Sreenivasan and directed by Andrews. What Bazmee did was to translate the script to hindi.

That's not true... If he had only translated the script, the film might have turned out far better... I'm sure, he put in his genius too in good measure to murder the story.
I had a bitter experience of watching CC2C. I watched that movie first day last show. I wasted Rs 500 for that silly movie. I was filling to kick the Director, Producer and the Actor. Kya sauch kay movie banayi. Akki is saying his movie Kambakkht Ishq is a big hit. Yaah its a BIG HIT to our heart. Few of my friends went to watch that movie and it was horrible worst then CC2C. Thank God I didn;t went along with them. Ek baar galti ki dubara nahin karunga..

Akki has let success go to his head and has started foolish movies starting with SIK and now KI.How I miss his good comedies like Welcome, Hera Pheri, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge etc.
'Vora tries hard to bestow his film with good-humoured heart, but when the building blocks are this obvious the heart is invariably a Hallmarkhame' - what kind of pretentious english is it? It will put to shame a nursery school teacher. Raja Sen is doing the same thing with his language and review what he is accuing Arsad Warsi and the film for. His language and understanding of cinema is not even worth an obscure blog's worth. Come one Rediff, have some dignity!
Sir i think you are bribed by certain community of filmmakers or you are plain biased.u called a shit movie like rab ne bana di jodi great and a great movie like new york waste...u dont have cinematic sense for sure

WHAT WAS GREAT IN NEW YORK.MR D P V I THINK YOU NEVER WATCHED THE MOVIE WAS THERE ANYTHING WORTH IN TH 2ND HALF OF TEH MOVIE.
Such bad reviews but still went ahead and watched it..and then I couldn't understand what do people expect when to go to watch such movie. It would have been a little better if Akshya would not have called Kareena "B I T C H" so many times. Didn't seen such a cheap flick for sometime..so thoroughly enjoyed...
