Don't know how many people know that it is a remake of the Malaylam movie "Udayananu Taram".I guess people are not bothered.The reviewer also seem to have ingnored this.Iam pretty sure this is not patch on the orginal.

Go and check the collections and reviews not only in India but New York, UK, Canada and UAE.

how is collection related to a movie being better than another one?
dont know how many people would care to read this space of mine,but pleeeasse mr.sen,have some sense of humour,all critics nowadays relent from giving stars even to good films.that is why i,like almost all,go by my instinct and not some film critic.find a better job.
M0r0nic bufffoon this movie is copycat of Udayanu Taaram and it had Mohan lal playin the lead roile, M0r0nic fool you are giving credit to Anees Bazmee for the script, LOl.......

Raja has credited Aneez Bazmee for coming up with this script. How ridiculous. The original script is by Sreenivasan and directed by Andrews. What Bazmee did was to translate the script to hindi.
raja sen should do his homework properly.Anees bazmee has nt come up with an actual plot,it is remake of a hit malayalam movie"udayanu tharam' of mohnlal..no where it is mentioned

who ever writes review eithe he is an drug addict or when he watch movie he get drunk ,thats why he gave 1 star for such a brave movie Newyork , and now he is comparing it with shortcut a totally different zone .I can't understand how rediff mangmnt pass such reviews. Yashraj rarely produces such film , but when it comes abt Rab ne he gives stars and never mentioned it small budget movie where newyork in all aspects is bigger film than rab ne or any yash raj movie. But reviewer is illiterate.
