who ever writes review eithe he is an drug addict or when he watch movie he get drunk ,thats why he gave 1 star for such a brave movie Newyork , and now he is comparing it with shortcut a totally different zone .I can't understand how rediff mangmnt pass such reviews. Yashraj rarely produces such film , but when it comes abt Rab ne he gives stars and never mentioned it small budget movie where newyork in all aspects is bigger film than rab ne or any yash raj movie. But reviewer is illiterate.
I don’t care too much about the review of Short Kut and can believe what you say but I am struck by the closing line – where you say that the film is better than New York and Kambakht Ishq put together. I think you are in serious need of re-evaluation. I do not want to get into a debate about film appreciation but the least, the very least New York is – is a brave film – it takes courage on the part of the actors and the producers to back a venture like this. They have put their careers on line and very real money to make a film which has a very real context. That it is a slick, well produced and directed film is another story. You may not like the film, hate the acting, find holes in the plot, but to draw such comparison puts your credibility in serious doubt. Like it is inevitable for a director to dress up a film to convey even the slightest intellect – I think you too fall prey to the use of superlatives to ‘dress up’ your review – make it clever and digestible. It’s a pity because this is what you claim are the problems in New York. You have lost credibility with this writer… for ever.

A brave film is should be praised for what it is - A brave film. A brave film can be a hopeless movie in terms of acting, direction, screenplay etc In New York no one has put their career at risk. The producer took big actors (except Neil), the actors took up a role in a big producers movie. The production house was not getting big hits by sticking to the same old formula movie it had been making in the past. Now let me think as to who was taking risk............... no one.
Re: What should I name my kid?

You can name your son anything you want (if he's really yours). No need to ask in a public forum and put this question to millions of readers. That shows whether the son is truly yours or not?????
So what if every second person in Andhra is Venkat or Srinivs (get the spellings right, first, OK)?
"Why can't Andhra people be more creative while naming their kids??"
Interesting... look at your name (let's hope it is your fake name): "sreenivash"
Why don't you go and question the parents who named you like that? Have you tried that, my dear friend?

Am sure a lot of us agree. Raja Sen wants to become famous, and its easy to become infamous than famous so he has chosen this path..
Again a good malayalam movie made into a total crap by bollywood .. Everybody knows bollywood can think themselves and make movie.. but now proved they cant even copy properly. Just copy some hit south movie or hollywood movie and make a bollywood movie with a english title. release it in 2000 centers and celebrated success party after 2 days of release.
