The messages took me to the old days and its so amazing.. Some of the serials i can recollect other than those mentioned here 1)aa Bail Mujhe Maar 2)Dr Saheb 3)Kshitij Yeh Nahin
and not to forget the Saturday afteroons Dekh bhai Dekh
and then the Didi's comedy show ....this was too good
All the serials associated with the lives of ommon pll r make up> No bindis. No gauedy jewellerY.I for got one srial inwhich girish karnad was there> I loved that opening song of Jagjit singh.

the serial was Neem ka ped and the song sung by jagjit singh was Mooh ki baat soone har kai.......You can listen to the song on youtube. just type neem ka ped and the song will come. hope it helps...enjoy...take care

the serials of today in satellite channels cannot match these serials even to a quarter and are pathetic and useless as compared to the above classics.

Thanks 'FORREST GUMP' for the list of the greatest serials. The serials of today are not a patch on those that you have mentioned.
There was one more serial that was aired during those great days of Hindi Serials. Apart from those you have mentioned, that other serial was 'UDAAN'. A great story!

i second it. u forgot Ramayan & Mahabharat. Also 'Aisa bhi hota hain'.. the host had BIG..u kno what..:) Also spiderman on sunday evening, plus 'Vikram aur Betaal'.

yes...and he man and masters of the universe on sunday mornings....ek do teen char children comedy....quiz time on sunday night....mr and mrs...butterfly....ados pados, karamchand, indrajeet, giant robot, diff. strokes, lucy...so many of them...all are classics compared to the crap of today....

There was the serial starring Mohan Gokhale , Mr. Yogi. I was bowled over by him and the lead heroine Sushma Seth's tall daughter. I still remember the song 'Mr. Yogi...Mr. Yogi.'

what a happy days was !!! i am crying little bit now remembering those child hood days. Thanks Forrest gump for rembering those serials specially JAINT ROBOT. jaint robot was my best serial.

I was really young when these shows used to be shown on TV. I remember watching them on black and white TV. Those were the real days of innocence. Can't help thinking about these serials. Wish we could have them started all over again, we can't go back in time but at least look back at the past.
