can u pls tell DD to retelecast those days seriels, i will be very thankful. when i see these seriels i remember of my childhood days, how we use to go other places house to watch these seriels, i was even not bother of my food or those rainy days, i dont use to miss any seriels star track, spider man, he man,karamchand,nukkad,kakka ji kahen dds comedy show, vikram aur vetal, circus, indra dhanush,ek do teen char, yeh jo hai zindagi, murarilal ke hasin sapney,school days,manoranjan and many more.....hope dd wil telecast these seriels again.waiting eagerly to watch these seriels.

The rights of most of these serials is with Doordarshan..i.e Sarkar.. so you can imagine nothing will happen.
Thank you Patcy and Abhinav for doing this feature. Really made me nostalgic. I can only imagine the amount of work put in by you guys in bringing this out. Once again Thanks!

It was a great serial... and the girl that presented it was really cute. Anyone knows who that girl was?
That name - HUM LOG - instantly takes me back to my late boyhood and early days of youth. Watching serials those days was a great family affair. Everyone huddled together in front of our good old black and white TV set and watched with bated breath the events that happened in each of those touching episodes. Hum Log, we people, were so simple all those years ago. Nowadays, TV serials have become a loathsome experience.
Abhinav Chaturvedi was very .very handsome when young. Saw him in other serials too. I think his looks were eway too good for serrials in those days.
Just like the yobung main character ifrom Phul Khile Hailn Gulshan Gulshan . He was so cute and handsome that there were no comparable girls to star opposite him.
Similarly the other guy , Ajay something, who starred with Bhagyashree in a college students serial.
As someone has already mentioned( and thanks that he remembered), Phul Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan, one of the most romantic serials I ever experienced. The young boy ( is his name Aakash or something?) and Parikshit Sahni were so lovely, I fell in love with them.
Singularly responsible for making Kashmir the place that middle class could go to.

how abt DD-2 serials like sriman-srimathi..which i think is the best comedy made on indian tv :-)

How can you forget Buniyaad? Zee gave some of the outstanding soaps like Astitva Ek Premkatha and others. It was Star and Balaji which gave headaches in the name of serials.
And how about "Saraa Jahaan hamara" starring these 2 actors. Girish Karnad was the father of a girl. He adopts 2 boys. Farida Jalal is their governess. It was a wonderful! And, I really loved its background score.
