It was a great serial... and the girl that presented it was really cute. Anyone knows who that girl was?

HUM LOG
by Thomas George on Jul 08, 2009 07:48 AM  | Hide replies

That name - HUM LOG - instantly takes me back to my late boyhood and early days of youth. Watching serials those days was a great family affair. Everyone huddled together in front of our good old black and white TV set and watched with bated breath the events that happened in each of those touching episodes. Hum Log, we people, were so simple all those years ago. Nowadays, TV serials have become a loathsome experience.

Could we get DD to re-telecast at least HUM LOG ?

Abhinav Chatuedirv
by BR on Jul 08, 2009 07:43 AM  | Hide replies

Abhinav Chaturvedi was very .very handsome when young. Saw him in other serials too. I think his looks were eway too good for serrials in those days.

Just like the yobung main character ifrom Phul Khile Hailn Gulshan Gulshan . He was so cute and handsome that there were no comparable girls to star opposite him.

Similarly the other guy , Ajay something, who starred with Bhagyashree in a college students serial.

phul khile hain....
by BR on Jul 08, 2009 07:36 AM

As someone has already mentioned( and thanks that he remembered), Phul Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan, one of the most romantic serials I ever experienced. The young boy ( is his name Aakash or something?) and Parikshit Sahni were so lovely, I fell in love with them.

Singularly responsible for making Kashmir the place that middle class could go to.

TELECAST AGAIN
by sanjay dinkar on Jul 08, 2009 06:50 AM  | Hide replies

Can we ask DD to start some of the most popular programmes again.

In todays TV you only get bad serials which are based on wemps in family.

I hope DD is listning.

How can you forget Buniyaad?
Zee gave some of the outstanding soaps like Astitva Ek Premkatha and others. It was Star and Balaji which gave headaches in the name of serials.

girish karnad & farida jalal
by Guest on Jul 08, 2009 06:28 AM

And how about "Saraa Jahaan hamara" starring these 2 actors. Girish Karnad was the father of a girl. He adopts 2 boys. Farida Jalal is their governess. It was a wonderful! And, I really loved its background score.
