India is proud of Aamir Khan for the great films he has directed, acted and produced. Aamir is truly king of Indian cinema. I dont understand, why Shah Rukh Khan is king of bollywood. He is media hyped and nothing else.
TZP is remake of 1984 TV series which was aired on american television network. If its not original then you cant expect to win osacrs. Next year please send a wednesday and I am sure it will win osacars.
Our Indian audiece must understand that getting an Oscar award is not a cake walk. Many people think that foriegners are denying India an Oscar. This is a pathetic perception and ignorance to the core. Rules of the oscar cannot be messed up. Lagaan is a good/great indian movie. But to get an Oscar people like Aamir,Kamal,Mohanlal or Mammoty or Nana patekar must work more smarter. We all know they are hard workers. They need to change certrain aspects and only they can do it. Not Salman or Sharukh or Vijay. It is the media which is more desparate for an Oscar and that too only for a Hindi movie and that too for Aamir khan movie. So every Aamir khan movie media projetcs as the oscar material. Oscar dosen't work in that way. There are 100s of great Indian movies which many audiences would like to see it again and again. But to make a movie for an Oscar we have to just follow the rules of an Oscar.

Dude danny boyle is way above aamir khan as a director, the reason boyle has gotten awards fr this film is no suprise when boyle won awards for his previous films too, and moreovr the award people nd people of america or england knows wht kind of filmmaker boyle is.
Now if an indian filmmaker hasn't made a movie like slumdog than don't bring out the age old philosphy of white vs. brown, black, yellow.
Thers no double standards in oscar as if the movie is good and the director is very well known to be a an excellent director of all his movies, then its no suprise for him to get an award.
Evn if boyle directrd or a white directed the movie TZP then they wud get nominated. This is a joke as ther alrdy movies in hollywood being made on child disorders and they won in the past. Now evn benjamin button movie deals w.physical disorder like TZP, although thousand times bettr than TZP. Evn tht movie didn't win any golden globes. Wht excuses ar ther fr that, tht brad pitt doesn't need an award nd jst tell him to keep makin movies like mr. nd mrs. smith.

When there is nothing for making into Oscar how can you expect an Oscar? Our Indian movies still has not learnt on how to make a movie without songs.

u r stupid Oscar is nothing its an american award ...due to money and hype we think that it something great...many great films are made in other languages from italy,france,india,japan so dont think oscar is something great.

Mr.Aditya, There are 100s of great Indian movies.But to get an oscar award just follow the rules nothing else. OScar is not any hype or money. It's the so called BOLLYWOOD, KOLLYWOOD OR TOLLUWOOD are hype. Empty vessels make more noise
what ever trick bollywood or any other wood in india tries, it cant win the best foreign picture. only option is make a hollywood movie and send it for india's entry.
They should have sent my Aag for Oscars. I have worked hard for showing my aag in a manner that noboby in the world has seen. AB was brillent in Babbans Role & Amjad Khan was stupid in Gabbars role.
I enjoyed only Aag. My Aag inspired many people. I have Aag in me which can destroy this world. I am RGV. My Aag is worth it for Oscars. AB should get best actor for his role of Babban in my film.
Though I knew from beginning that TZP and CDI were both huge hype just like Gazni but still anxious to see a Indian film getting nominated. You should send all Indian films to GG and oscar by changing the director's name. Change Golmal Returns director to Danny Boyle and it will receive Oscar. That simple.

TZP is the best Movie one can ever make.....Not Typical SRK lovestories which sucks....Who respects Filmfare where Awards are only sold never achieved....

What rubbish, Indian awards are and have always been either sold or given to the star on top, or to someone in lieu of his performance at the show.Every award is given to Shahrukh inspite of the fact that other actors had given wonderful performances but only because their films did not do well, they didn't get the awards.

TZP did get a lot of Awards in FF and it did not a got a nominee for oscars so FF did choose wrong. they should give it to chak de.

You are telling that indian awards are been sold... if so i have few questions to you 1)Then SRK would be Best actor every year , which is not so? 2)if awards are been sold then did Aamir Khan gave money to get many awards for TZP?
