Rahman's best

I am awed still, at his composition of "Konjam Nilavu, Konjam Neruppu", in "Thiruda Thiruda" more than 10 years back.

GRAND - ROYALE INDIAN SYMPHONY
by SAURAB BHAKRI on Oct 25, 2008 10:07 PM  | Hide replies

The soundtrack of 'Yuvvraaj' needs to have a listening for a couple of times for a normal music lover. One needs to an ear for the compostions created. Certainly not of the level that the soundtrack of 'Taal' (a brilliant score till date and nothing to beat in its category of compositions, the beats, the rhythm, the melody and what not) enjoys.

Its a higher level in its compostiion.

The compositions are quite exclusive and far ahead of the normal soundtarcks we get to hear, for an average music lover.

Basically, the musical score is like an opera , say the first Indian opera to the world, grand and royale. This could come but naturally from the maestros and a great combination of Subhash Ghai and A R Rahman. It is a symphony with some great orchatrisations never could have been assembled before.

One needs to reach to a level of that stature to enjoy and value the compositions of 'Yuvvraaj' to feel the richness, grandness of the score.

Mastam Mastam is a trypical Rahman number.

Compostions are loaded with lyrics of great brilliance by Gulzar ji in all its simplicity to spread the message of love to the people all over, across the boundaries I mean.

'Dil ka Rishta' stands out as the best composition, I feel, as one would expect from the combination of Subhash Ghai and A R Rahman. It has some great lyrics and an orchestration to make it a grand track in its treatment. Should be a grand finale sort of in the film. Wishing the very best to the great team.

I certainly agree that not only Yuvraaj, but any of Rahman's other compositions will grow on you after 3-4 listenings...I dont deny that at all...But what disappointed me a bit in Yuvraaj is that there's no number which is unique or which instantly makes you feel that it's an out-of-the-world ARR number...think of the 'hoom-haan' humming of 'Taal se Taal' or Ishq bina...you instantly fell in love with those and they were just dew-fresh...however technically outstanding Yuvraaj's tunes may be, they still lack the instant captivation or the raw freshness of ARR's earlier tunes...Yuvraaj is better than the rest, but Taal was the best of the best!

Read DA VINCI CODE.

Find out how many 'Dying and Resurrecting Gods' were there before Jesus, all having December 25th as
Birth Date, and all dying on a friday and resurrecting after three days!!!

They were 'Osiris' , 'Adonis', 'Mithras' and 'Dionysus'.

And also find out how Bible was compiled by 'Constantin' including just 4 gospels, which proclaimed Jesus as
God, and eliminating 6 dozen other gospels which said he was just human, all this, just to save Roman Empire from division.

Find out, how Jesus's divinity was decided on a vote in 'Council of Nicea', four centuries
after his death!!

Find out, how even the custom of going to Church on Sunday is copied from Pre Christianic Roman religions, the day they used to worship the 'Sun God' !!

Find out, how a small group of people always knew the truth, including the great renaissance genious, 'Leanardo Davinci'
who exposed this greatest coverup on human history, in almost all of his greatest works.

See how some of history's renowned names like 'Victor Hugo', 'Isac Newton' and 'BottiCelli' also knew the true story, and lot more...

Illaiyaraja's composition is not just music but medicine. If any one feel stress just listen to the Classical Melodies of Raja Sir and I bet the mind gets destressed and feel light.Be it a Diwali or Holi, Ramzan or Christmas, Birthday or Wedding for every occassion there is always a Raja Sir's song. I daily thank god for blessing me into this earth during the great era of Illaiyaraja Sir.
Long live Illaiyaraja Sir so that he can be mentor for many A.R.Rehmans.

Ilayaraja was a master craftsman in his time and ARR in his time.

Technically both are different and both good in their own ways.

One cant put aside "kadahalin deepam onru," at the same time, we cant put uyirae aside also.

Each one is blessed in their own way. We cant compare these two.

I agree that IRs melodies are evergreen and soothing to ears, but todays cinema cant accommodate those songs, so new musik directors have to work accordingly.

Anyhow, IR and ARR are the best musik directors of India, maybe forever.

But whatever it is, me being an ARR diehard, the songs from Yuvraaj for worth for nothing.

Once who know ARR, can very well understand that this is not done by ARR, only his name is put in it.

One can clearly make out from the musik, those violin he has never done and will never attempt too. And all the chorus and instruments does not resemble ARR. I am sure this is not ARRs, if it is, he may have been tortured to give musik.

ARR has to accept only those assignments that he can give his heart to and not to old sentiments with those persons and putting his name for someone's musik.

Better he concentrate in Indian musik. One can see that he gained nothing from Lord of Rings or Bombay Dreams or Elizabeth II. Simply waste of time there and here.

this is for all who think ARR to be Brahmin and promoted him! He converted himself to muslim just because he was born as an SC and to hide the fact. Only because of that he was promoted by Manirathnam and balachander - otherwise he will be nothing in front of Illaiyaraja! IR is the great musician of all time and one can check any world. Todays world favourite M-I-A and Black Eyed Peas have songs inspired from Ilayaraja's creations and ARR himself couldn't do much in the other world. Better he learn he can't bake Pizza better than Italians. Hail Raja the best of all years and all worlds!

Formula by Dr K A Rokade!!How to drive legally in UK without ever worrying penalty or points. An amazing revelation today, One of unscrupulous Dr K A Rokade from midland known to have coned DVLA on several counts by driving fradulanatly with Valid License which can’t be endorsed or no point can be given inspire of several driving convictions! How it works? This is secret formula tried and tested since 1999 by Dr Kirti Rokade from midland! This is secret formula tried and tested since 1999! You are right that, as most of us know, IDP (International Driving Permit)is valid for initial one year when you come to UK. However, there is clever way to play around it, if you want to! IDP can be renewed every year, if you are away from UK for more than 21 days continuously, in a year. Means go to India every year for 21 days and you can get new IDP! I know few people who do this since many years as they are not bothered to pass UK test. And good thing about it is that, even if you get caught speeding, they can fine you... but can’t endorse points! And there is no record of minor offences related to and there is no record of minor offences related to your driving! So normal clean CRB in spite of many convictions like Drink Driving or Driving Convictions Vow what a novel innovative way to speed/drink drive/dangerously drive and not getting any penalty!!There is lot of difference between having "a valid IDP” and that "IDP being valid here”. It is another thing that most of the traffic cops
