no body can compare rajas music.raja composing natural music.he created so many wonders in music.in 1979 to till. now raja created superb melodius music. he know every thing in music.his songs are starting to ending same moment.now a days song are no moment,no tunes.all are artificial.present music directors dont no about sarigama.ilarajas albums are superb.so ilayaraja is living legend in music.

GAJINI tamil music is far better then the hindi gajini..harris jayaraj did a fabulous work in music
ar rahman is the king but tamil gajini music is the best

Raja no doubt is a great musician...who made great melodies..but a repetitive music (same 'dolak' beat for many songs...who did not go beyond chennai to other parts of india..or world....like Rahman...Pls learn to appreciate the courage in attempting music that a young prodigy like Rahman has...!

mr. vijayanand rahman composed repetitive music not raja.even rahman every time composing same type of music.only media hyped for rahmans music.so thats why rahman mosy popular.but ilayaraja period no media.ilayaraja composed sweet melodies.he creating most wonders.if any doubts.you go and search ilayarajas website.and everymusic director inspired raja.
hi mr grow up , do u know A.R.REHMAN is a tread setter,,,,,,all the guyz like harris jeyaraj, deva, the sooo called Yuvan shankar raja are all copy cats......Rehman makes music in his own style ...the above mentioned guyz do nothing other than to copy his music style....
I think nadeem shravan were the best duo ever. ar rahman music was once good, but never the best, this time he sucked badly, experementation should be stopped immeadiately.

Even I'm a big fan of Rahman. Can you guys(supporting Raja Sen's Review) say that this is better than ARR's Swades? Swades is any day, by any terms better than any other Hindi Composition.
these are the reason for ghajini makes great album for some and disappointment for others. 1. guzaarish- typical hindi belt song with ar rahman touch.very indian. so all liked the songs. 2. behka- new kind of approach. slow. experimentation. a blend of western and indian. so some liked it and some dont initially. but surely a slow poison. 3. kaise muje- very slow song. too much western in composition with very little indianized type. 4. aye bachchu - pure western track. so it will not please much of the listeners. so they will hate it. only those who like western music will like this. others will surely hate it. rahman didnt do any kind of mixing indian and western. this is the one reason some people didnt liked it. lattoo- western. too many experimentation. so most people never liked this song. but the truth is that music is great bcos rahman gave music for all kind of people instead of a particular kind of people. so those who are looking for something fresh tunes with good experimentation really liked it. some people thought rahman will give a peppy number like haris jayraj(that numbers itself are rahman style. so many people still believe those songs in tamil are composed by rahman) for tamil. but he didnt go for the same way. he tried to go through in a different way and more universal. question is that was it required that much experimentation for ghajini kind of movie. we can only say after listening background score and the movie. but music is apt for a dark thriller.
