Is it the actor from that fantastic Hindi version - Shiva? The villain in the movie? The character was Bhavani in the movie. He was also the brother-villain in a Sunil Shetty- Karishma Kapoor movie.
If it is the same character, then was he really 60? Wow!

So can i consider you as the new Moral authority of Tamilnadu. Yo pure heart?
He was an Actor. Look at his acting skills. Who are you to judge on a how they live. I have not heard about him being a womenizer. Even if he was one how did it affect you. Did he ask you to pay for his drugs or alcohol?
Raghuvaran really was a fantastic actor. I have seen his Kannada movie ASURA opposite to Hatrick Hero Shivarajkumar.,It was really a very different(Cold blooded) badman acting by Mr.Raghuvaran it is very difficult to get such an actor again. May god rest his soul in peace. experience in that movie
I am not sure why there is no news about shoban Babu, he acted in neary 250 Films and resides in Chennai.
Is rediff only meant for news related to tamilians, I have nothing against them but I only see most of the news related to them, it might be about their filmstars/cricketers/politicians...

Dear Mr.Sarvesh Karra These rediff guys are giving preference to Tamilians, not for other south Indian guys. It is not fair on their part.

Raghuvaran is a pucca malayalee..born at Kolangode in palaghat district of kerala..specificly a Hindu nair..did his education in coimbatore...
as a layman, I feel from the comments he was unappreciated while alive. He lived in his roles and those who have seen him, would never forget this master craftsman.
