As long as there is Sarkari control over such Selections,utter bad films like Eklavya would go to Oscars and keep on spoiling our image internationally. Anil Aeron

Guys i think Ajay was criticizing AAG as it was the worst movie ever made in Bollywood..! Tell me 1 movie which was bad than this..! u wont find it..!
Eklavya not even gonna make it worth viewable by the selectors. Everytime our movie people wanna win the votes on the basis of something like "ANCIENT" and "CULTURAL"! Fuck off. First make something other than merely just adding "MASALA" in the movie. OSCAR has high standards but dont just try to fit in that frame. Make something more than worth wathcing. Standards will automatically change ! At this point I believe no movie is worth sending to Oscars ! Just watch and enjoy !
Yeah! This Whole Affair of Oscar Selection sucks. & to take the point further, or a little backward rather, remember "DEVDAS"? It still beats my mind how such things can strike the minds of Indian Selectors as "Oscar Material"? Well, in fact, it was just the Stubborn Whim & Manipulation of Shahrukh that had made it possible. Just because Aamir's "LAGAAN" had made it to the Oscar's, Shahrukh had made it a point that his Movie too should go there; nothing else. It's a well - known fact that Shahrukh is a Jealous Individual & had made this facet of his Public when Hrithik had shot to fame.
This was one of the worst movies that I saw this year. After seeing this moovie I have come to conclusion of not to see any of Amitab's new moovies with out prior reports. Wonder how a star of statuer of Amitab can agree to do such moovies and alikes of Chini Kum and other movie I heard he was romancing 16 year girls. Over every thing its nominated to repersent India's work for the year in films. Its much more than Bias. Is Jaya Bachhan any way influencing nominations?

I think no movie HAS to go to the Oscars. what cheapos we are. still our mentality is that till we are accorded some recognition by the West (in this case Hollywood), we do not consider ourselves complete.
what is the need to fight amongst ourselves for this Oscar thing? how many of those Hollywood people even care about us?
