Guru is still 2007's best movie (financially and critically). So do not live in fools world. You thought RGVKiaag,LCMD,Eklavya are all flops. Shouting hit does not make SRK an actor.

Yes, you are right!! Eventhough i have not seen OSO and Sawariyan ..but before reading it ..I was expecting the same from rediff and it was the same. I am not a critic but i feel always biased review in rediff. I feel money speaks.
Bhansali thinks if he puts SalmanKhan the peopele would like it.It is boring. Mr. Bhansali you dont know to make movies.You meet Mr.Roshan and learn.This looks like a dark set of Batman Begins!And please learn from Mr.Rakesh.Farah Khan choreographs better.

Unlike SLB%u2019s previous movies, Saawariya fails to arouse any emotion in the audience whatsoever and the disappointment on their faces was obvious, while leaving the movie hall. As a movie enthusiast, I have watched a wide variety of artistic movies in my career and understand that they are primarily based on dialogues, sets, acting and expressions, just like this one; however, there is a huge array of basic elements missing in this movie like, chemistry between the debut actors and an overdose of other elements like, unnecessary exposure of Raj%u2019s buttocks, monotonous scenes, and a poorly constructed set. Additionally, Sanjay Leela Bhansali%u2019s taste in characters is becoming more like a cookie cut factory where all his female protagonists come with the same long hair, same old flowy outfits, drop their payal, and never get together with %u201Chero%u201D at the end%u2026need I say more?! To make matters worse, the set was a dark and dingy %u201Cchow chow bhath%u201D of Paris%u2019 Moulin rouge, Venetian gondolas, American mid-town caf?and some local bars. This movie is a classic example of an excellent concept simply gone wrong! As a movie critique, I will give this movie 2.5 stars merely for the Shaan%u2019s singing ability, the apparent effort on the sets, and acting skills of the debuts. Mr.Bhansaali, shame on you for 're-working' on already released movies and remaking them with added COLOURS & SETS. It will never help in the long run.

I believe, Artist on Bhansali. If you bring Guernica to current India - tell me the india's reaction.
May be he is preparing whole of Bollyhood itself to move forward from melodrama. Lucky bollywood if he continues there. Otherwise may be he is preparing for Hollywood.
hi all. had been to OSO movie. a true bollywood masala movie. here is wat i think abt the movie and ppl in it.not revealing the story.just rating it based on wat i felt. Shreyas-A true actor and deserves much better roles. has done well watever he had in OSO. (9/10) Arjun-Surprise for me that he can act. Has done justice to the character.(8/10) SRK-The same style of acting. Nothing new.(don't want to rate as he knows just one type of acting and is good at it) Deepika-2 words;she rocks !!! looks, dance and performance wise, she has ruled the movie.everytime she was on the screen, there was a spark. she is definitely the next superstar.hope to see lot more from this new girl.(9.9/10) Kiron-True genius.We need actors like her.(11/10)
Movie-Well,first half was good coz of deepika. also some good moments,good comedy.lot of masala.mixture of many movies.overall u can sit thru first half without any pain in ur ...
The problem is second half.the twist in the movie is horrible .the story is a disaster.gets boring for 30min after interval.u may even fall asleep here.then enters deepika "again" and throws some light.some timepass again for next 1hr.FINALLY the movie ends.
Overall: 2 out of 5 (2 points just coz deepika rocks !!)
How can SLB go out of control. how can he made such stupid movie how can he be such oppertunist. He is double standard person when he ws doing Devdaas with SRK he was telling he is the best actor now he is going against SRk. one hand he claims his movie is Classic and other hand he is expecting money from box office. But finally audience has to take the call . He shold be sent to jail for destroying festive mood of Indian audience. He has made another RGV ki AAG and comparing himself with great Vimal roy and Satyjit ray. how cheap he is
It seems that this bloke 'zaki malvi' has few things to do other than write in the rediff column all day in "pathetic" english. Whatever it is, I shall try to have a look at Saawariya going by the review of others.
i just saw the movie . brilliant thing was that there was no story. to say that the movie was crap will mean that it was a poor screenplay but man... where was the story. who made SLB DIRECTOR? yeh film toh main bhi bana doong
