RE:Saawariya is a all time Classic movie

Yeah a classic alright... so take out its print and hang it in the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. Thats where it belongs. simply throw it out of the window.
To say that Sawariya is over hyped is an understatement because it is not only over hyped, it is probably one of the crappiest movies I have wasted my time on. Ranbir Kapoor is clearly gay and he just "came out" in his dubut. Sonam Kapoor is the only good thing in the movie. Atleast one can drool on her infectious smile. Rani Mukherjee's "special" appearance was too long to be special. Salman Khan is used merely as a lucky charm. I definitely feel that SJB wanted to celebrate the success of Black by going on a spending spree and he did so by making Sawariya. Needless to say, Rs 175 and 2.5 hours of my life totally wasted.

Snigdha, i think you should be working in our country's investigating agencies coz you seem to have been gifted with 'X-RAY' eyes. Lolz.. And for your info, even if Ranbir is what u think he is, i will still watch all his movies. No thanks for your complete idiosyncrasy.
It is as boooooring, lousy, silly movie as it can be. Ranbir and Sonam have done a good job. Salman is looking oooold. Mr.Sanjay Bhansali cannot make a movie as per his likes and imagination, but should make one that the public would like and enjoy. I think he should forget the Black colour.(majority were night scenes) Nothing was realistic and natural in the film. Half of the theatre was empty on a sunday morning show. That says it all.

Dont camaflouge your individual opinion as 'public opinion'. SAAWARIYA is indeed a very good movie.

Well Ashish, even if(a big IF) the movie did lack something, I dont think it should be given such a crap 1/5 rating. Movie is good enough to earn 3.5 rating
Very good movie .Seems like SRK has paid Raja Sen to write well about OSO and crap about Saawariya .I have watched OSO also and it is total CRAP .Worst SRK movie till date .
RE:I would give it 4 Stars
by Narasimhan Srinivasan on Nov 12, 2007 01:35 PM
Kya yaar Kanu...? To praise Saawariya do not criticise OSO or SRK. Now you are being negative. If you have reasons for liking it, then say the same man....

you are right makarand. 1st time bhansali had done a worst job. he is very nice director but he is gone wrong. saawariya is really very boring movie. it is very slow and black everywhere. the set is good. only one song i.e.doli me bithake is good to hear. sonam have no heroin face and ranbir's face is more like a girl and less like a boy. he had copied hritik in many shots. sonam you should try some other field but not acting.

When the protagonists in our Bollywood movies bash up a gang of goons and dodge AK-47 bullets, only THEN movies aren't crap, right Makarand??
I have abSOLUTELY loved the film! AND I WOULDN't want to change anything & the sad thing is that barring the fact that the reviewing gentleman is allowed to express his views on this platform but he just hasn't goTTEN the film. I salute Mr.Bhansali yet again on making yet another masterpiece. Have seen it twice & going to watch it a third time tonight! Cheers!
