after reading a lot of SYCOPHANT type review i have only 1 thing to say- the movie is not great. not for rajni, or for shankar. as for rajni fans- well, someone has to say it, like the child in the famous story- that the(ir) KING is naked- the clothes are make believe. . the movie lacks pizzazz...it may pull thru--worse movies have. the WORST THING? RAJNI looks old. i remember a scene in CHANDRAMUKI where his hand was shown- it looked REALLY old....SIVAJI is another testimony to RAJNI ageing, despite make up, manish malhotra, cg ETC

hey hv some brain...dont be so melodramatic..no sense at all....sycophants.....jst rem the case wen rajkumar died....stop considering them god!!!u guys hv better things to do
technology including cameras, sound equipment, editing, special effects etc.....but they NEVER exhibit such crazy and unruly behaviour over movies & actors.
If ever I were to watch such a movie, I would go to some remote village where nobody knows me by name or sight....and mebbe even wear a scarf to cover my face....there is absolutely no way I can watch such movies made for the masses with pride and dignity...that is the embarassment I would feel watching such mediocrity....AND YOU GUYS are actually exhibiting this buffoonery in the West instead of shielding these movies and keeping them in our shores? I cannot stop you from watching these movies but please for INDIA's sake, watch them in your backyards....don't let the world get an even more screwed up impression of INDIA. This is a patritic person's sincere appeal....Please let India shine

Points noted down Dear Patriot. U need not bear the pain of watching movies like Sivaji.None of us asked u to. Its better people like u keep urself away from watching it,so one fan of Sivaji gets a tkt & have a blast for 3 hrs. Keep India Shining.
rajni is known for making his movies a hit - whoever is director, co stars, music director, producer....thats what made him superstar. but after BABA he has gone for safe subjects like chandramukhi ( a hit in mal/kannada) and even more so in sivaji. its much hyped movie , with india's best technicians . so is the movie doing well a victory for him? shankar has made super hit movies with OUT-OF-WORK actors like ARJUN (Gentleman, mudhalvan) by sheer strenght of MUSIC and TECHNICAL WIZARDRY and the tired and TESTED formula of ONE MAN CRUSADER. so making sivaji a hIT is not a big thing. it woudl have RUN with an ARJUN. i wait for a TYPICAL rajni movie which he pulls off with his wosn strenght.
So the craze about shivaji is over. Finally the much hyped movie is avg fetching just the amount the producer has spent on the movie. A movie is a hit only if it fetches twice or thrice the amonut invested on that movie. This movie isa complete disaster. Now dont come back bklaming on me. It is a fact and mind you i am not rajni hater. I am just a neutral guy who likes rajni style and AB grace.
